Thank you. I think this was my fourth attempt at this location to get star trails and a rocket launch together. I don’t remember why the first one didn’t work out. That rocket went up, but something happened with the star trails bit. Another time there was a massive storm that rolled through before the launch, so no

Many thanks!

Thanks!

Thank you, kind sir.

Thank you.

For what it’s worth, this is the Crew Dragon launching on Saturday morning with 117-minutes of star trails leading up to the launch and a storm over the Atlantic Ocean throwing out lightning bolts. It was pretty friggin’ impressive.

Those are difficult to look at.

There is an F40 in Ft. Lauderdale that is someone’s daily driver. When I’ve seen it, it’ll have a fold-out silver sunscreen in the front window. There are fast food bags littering the passenger side floor, along with other random stuff one might find in a DD. It makes me happy to know that it gets driven like a normal

But you can’t just add the halo to a chassis that isn’t designed to have it. Sure, they could redesign it to have the halo and if you want to buy them for the teams that don’t have the budget to buy several for themselves, I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.

Got an email this morning that said to go to the settings of my Flickr account to download everything. This is what awaits me. 59 zip files of photos and two of account data. This is gonna take a while. But it’s still better than manually selecting up to 500 photos in batches at a time. That method creates the same

Yes, Flickr billed themselves as a fantastic backup service. I have two types of photos uploaded to Flickr. Some are galleries for sharing and driving traffic to my website. The others are files stored as backups, mainly from my iPhones over the years. When I have too much crap in my phone or iPhoto a new one, I

I have three 35mm cameras. One of those cameras is a 1951/52 Exa Version 1. It doesn’t even use batteries but yet pictures taken with it end up on the internet (including Flickr)! It’s witchcraft!

I had been trying to download all my stuff from Flickr. There are older photos uploaded there that for various reasons I no longer have any other copies/backups of. The process was tedious and then stopped working. I contacted Flickr and they actually got back to me. They said doing the 500 at a time method is not the

Last year at St Pete, I sat out most of the actual race. I spent most of it hanging out in the Calloway Corvette garage and transporter. I didn’t get to my preferred viewing spot in time and it was way to crowded to deal with.

All of these tips are completely relevant for going to a three-day IndyCar or F1 race weekend. It’s so easy to go bonkers on day one with the running around and the drinking. After that, days two and three suck. Don’t be that guy or gal who passes out from exhaustion halfway through day three. Your friends will hate

RIP MR2, you didn’t deserve this.”

It’s a farm where hamburgers come from.

My first time behind the wheel of a full-sized vehicle (I was an avid karter at the local minigolf and kart fun center for several years prior) was the farm truck at my step-grandparents’ hamburger farm in southern Georgia. I was probably 14, though maybe 13. I got to take the truck out for a spin in the field. If

It’s one of those days where nothing is going to warm the track. The air temp is going to go up any. The rain may let up, but it’s not going to stop. That track is going to be somewhere around 60 degreesand wet (at best) all day.
