With all that The Orange Blob has gone through in the last several days, I thought I would help him out. His campaign needed a new logo to reflect the current state of things, one that really tells the story of the campaign. I started with his original, super sexy logo. It really didn’t get a fair shake, and I think

If stray jizz = rape, then I’ve raped myself an awful lot over the years.

That clip doesn’t do justice to how good he was at that age. Because he was from Jacksonville, he would come down to Tampa play pretty regularly, with his uncle on drums. Pretty sure there were a few Allman Bros. personnel from the early 90s in this proto-Derek Trucks Band, maybe Warren Haynes. They would play at

Lane is a Florida hero.

Now playing

I went to see The Posies the other night.

I used to go see him play in Tampa when he was 13 years old. Holy hell, could he play.

Stupid US television... this is one of my favorite races of the year. Maybe i’ll see if an ex-pat friend who lives in Upsidedownistan can just FaceTime me with his phone pointed at the tv...

I cry every time I watch this. Every time.

Thank you for this. You folks have impeccable taste in music. As a show of my appreciation, here is a picture I took of Watt back in 2000 in Jacksonville while hanging out pre-show.

Um, in my younger days, I worked in the wholesale tobacco room at Sam’s Club (that’s where small, non-corporate convenient stores get their cigs from). Our room was off to the side, away from the main store. We were next to the customer restrooms.

I swear I’ve seen something around here about doing an LS swap for pennies, so maybe he took that literally.

I really love this pic of an Edsel hood ornament (well, it’s really a fender ornament...) that I took a few years ago. I used a vintage Minolta 50mm lens on my Nikon DSLR. Really happy with it.

Love that Audi shot!

Not my best, but one of my favorites. It’s from this year’s Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Captain Obvious here had no idea he was walking in front of a very loud race car. More specifically, he just stepped out in front of it, but turned to stay in the path of the car. The driver waited very patiently for him to move,

Why does one need a racing license for this? Can’t you just turn on the autopilot mode and play a game of solitaire while you get driven to victory?

Perfect!

Not sure of all the details on everything that’s been done to it, but I’m pretty sure it can.

This one is fast.

It’s from an Audi A4, I think the 1.8l turbo. He said before he last tuned it, it was putting out 240bhp. After he fixes some clutch issue, he’a going to dyno it again, but it’s definitely more than 240 now.

Thanks for playing.
