To be clear, I have no problem with people having their own kids vs. adopting in the same way that I have no problem with people buying healthy dogs from reputable breeders vs. getting one from a shelter.

The analogy comes into play only with respect to purchasing a dog from a breeder instead of purchasing one from a shelter (i.e. not the manner in which the dog is bred).
Shouldn't a moral conviction outweigh a biological drive? How is it that some people can make the choice to forgo having their own child in favor of adopting? Are you flawed or are they?

i agree. i also like the premise but the execution needs to be more realistic. i.e. have the guy get charged, convicted, escape from prison etc.
