I’ve never driven a Spark, but I got an Aveo as a loaner once. That thing was especially awful on the highway and terrible everywhere else.

I like to have football on in the background. I would much rather have it on my big ass TV instead of streaming on my laptop or phone.
What happened to their uniforms? I remember watching that in the 80’s on ESPN, when they had nothing else to show, and they refs looked like they were going on safari or something.
I had a driver’s ed teacher who wouldn’t let us exceed 45 MPH because he was afraid the magnetic student driver signs would fall off the car. This wasn’t much of a problem on the interstate because cars could easily pass in the other lane. It became a problem when he decided to take us out on the two lane highway…
I’ve heard it referred to as Whitefolks Bay, so this isn’t surprising.
Lambeau seems to hold up pretty well with their grass & synthetic surface and heating system. I’m not sure why more teams don’t go to that system. It seems like Washington, Chicago, and Pittsburgh could switch to that. I’m also not sure why they can’t have a decent field in California. Is the drought responsible for…
My wife likes Bit-O-Honey for some unknown reason. They are just awful.
My mom liked those so she would buy them to hand out. We always seemed to have plenty left over too. Those things have to be in the bad candy hall of fame.
When the Brewers switched to the National League, a lot of Cubs fans started coming up to Milwaukee for games because it was easier and cheaper than going to Wrigley. A guy from Chicago parked illegally and a cop told him he would get a ticket. He asked how much is the ticket. The cop said something like $40. The guy…
The local minor league team auctions off their specialty game worn jerseys for charity 3-4 times a year. These are jerseys that are worn for one game. Most of the jerseys are a little wet, but the goalie ones are soaked and stink. I’ve won a couple of goalie jerseys and threw them in the trunk for the drive home. The…
When I get a new game I somehow always forget that it needs to be installed. It’s annoying because I could have started the install while eating dinner. I’ve tried playing games when it says “Ready to Start” but I’ve run into problems where I can’t advance in the game because it’s still installing.
What happened to the Legacy? I used to have an 06 LGT sedan and that car was great. I might still have it if I didn’t get a great deal on a G8 GT when Pontiac went out.
I love my 65” plasma. The picture is great. It also doubles as a space heater. That thing puts off some heat.
The only downside to Costco is that somehow I always end up spending $80-100 when I went in there for a couple of low cost things. Every single time. That’s not even counting the case of beer I buy because they have a new variety pack that’s much cheaper than the grocery store.
How did Mason Crosby become good again? I’m a Packers fan and I’m still a little nervous when they kick a field goal, even though Crosby rarely misses. That year he was bad was just awful. Once a kicker has a bad year like that, he’s usually cut and never heard from again.
My in-laws usually have me hook up just about any electronics at their house. They didn’t do that the last time they bought new TV’s. Last month I went over there to help move some furniture. As I’m unhooking the TV’s, I see the DVR’s hooked up with composite cables.
I’m thinking 10-6 Houston. Watt has a pick 6 and catches the pass for the 2 point conversion. Indy has a pick 6. Watt intercepts Indy’s 2 point conversion try and runs it back for 2 more points.
My local Costco had a pallet full of Xbox Ones at $299.97. I think they were just the base 500 GB without the Kinect.
I was wondering about that. I have a couple of recalls on my Volt and I don’t want one of them done because GM did a half-assed fix for a problem that really shouldn’t be a problem. I figured they would force me to have it done for “safety”.
Speaking of nozzles, has anybody else noticed the “avoid spills” stickers on Costco gas pumps? Somebody had to do this because there is a sticker. I tried to put the nozzle in upside down and it seemed so unnatural that I felt there is no way anybody actually did this.
