I've never been a Kesha fan but the way this Dr. Luke jackass is responding to her claims makes me believe them. Nothing says "yep, I'm probably guilty" like completely ignoring the actual accusations and just flinging all the mud you can think of at your accuser.

Bringing forward sexual assault allegations is never easy in a judicial system that is often guilty of doubly victimizing complainants. This is compounded for Kesha as public figure. She is going to be subject to all sorts of sexualized, misogynistic, victim blaming hatred from the cybersphere. It takes serious guts

Normally, I'm of the opinion that comments section of a Dirt Bag should be flippancy and snark, but if I were being sexually assaulted by my manager? I'd probably have a weird relationship with my ladybits, too. Would I say they were haunted? Add drugs and alcohol to the mix, and I just might.

Regardless of whether

You mean....yours isn't haunted???

Again unclear on why any of this precludes a person from being sexually assaulted.

WAIT I WAS ON A BOAT ONCE AND HAVE A HAT. There is hope!!!

I agree that making generalisations about white people isn't racist in the same way that making generalisations about black people. Totally on board with you on that. However, can we please agree that making generalisations about any group is counter-productive and false?

and you can also assume a black man in the south in 1860 was 100% a slave.

I don't think you know what racist means. It doesn't mean "general stereotype".

Sure, if you want to smudge your census data by counting babies, children, immigrants, poor white sharecroppers, free blacks, etc. But according to YOUR link, 32% of families in the Confederate States owned slaves. And all plantation owners had slaves. So it's no stretch to say that socially distinct white families

"Antebellum" means "pre-Civil War."

Fair meta point and fair as food for thought. But, I think it's tough to argue that you forfeit being able to credibly decry the history of racism in this country because you happen to own a pair of Nikes.

Yeah I guess I'm with Megyn Kelly on this one. As completely out of touch as Gwynyth is, why split hairs? Her hearts in the right place. I mean if it was a government funded research team it'd be six elderly men making statements about women's pay.

There's also the fact her show sucks.

as some have pointed out, the worst part is that she compared Bynes to Hannah Horvath, pretty much making it about her.

Ugh, Lena. I keep trying to stan for her because so many of her haters are clearly just scandalized that she dares to be young, smart, female, wealthy, successful, and (*gasp*horrors*) average looking...but she makes it so difficult. Girl why you gotta sound like such an asshole in your soundbites?!?

You guys. I get why I'm supposed to stop hating Lena Dunham so much. She gets a disproportionate amount of criticism for being outspoken and not having Hollywood looks and being brave enough to present female antiheroes and so on. But why does she have to be so awful all the time? "I'm not crazy, it's the world that's

But she should have saved her disgust for Tim and the judges. It's not like Char had any say at all in what happened, so her anger at Char was completely misdirected.

Ugh, "Korina" was terrible. I know reality shows pick and choose what they show to "create" the characters, so I'll refer to her in quotes because maybe she's not anything like that in real life, but from the beginning, "Korina" was high on her own supply. In the first episode, even, I think she was saying how she

Amanda said it best last night: the judges sent Karina home, not Char.
