Agreed. There is the possibility that this is all in the letter writer’s head. Without specific examples of the SO actually agreeing with the fact the writer is a jerk, it is a dangling question, which would require a slightly different answer about being ok with who you are.

“and turns you into the bad guy”

Agreed.

“Alright alright alright” is from Dazed and Confused, not True Detective.

Unpopular opinion, I really liked this show.

I think it’s great they are refunding people for it. It would be an added bonus if Valve starts doing that for many of the other abandonware that is circling through Steam. There are far too many games that can end up staying in alpha or beta stage for eternity.

I don’t think you would HAVE to roll a warlock to match this. A mage would work just as well, since they can also wear cloth, and I feel would fit better since they have a specialization in fire spells

That’s what I got out of it too. It’s like when they said it, that 6 seconds were occupied by the gears quietly turning in Elon’s head about how autonomous Teslas are an excellent platform for their own Uber competitor.

Just occurred to me.

Tell that to new car dealers!

The good new for these guys is that after having their team’s monumental failure relayed to them via cell phone, they got to go out into the freezing cold and get right back to performing one of the most brutal and dangerous jobs in the world.

I normally don’t care too much about the silent treatment after rookie HR stuff, but this guy’s reactions and faces are amazing. If everyone reacted the way he did, I would hope for silent treatments all the time.

Only thing that would’ve made this better is if he was on the same team as Beltre so he could mime-touch

I would be way too hyped up!

ANYTHING WITH THIS

Because they want to include Babe Ruth in the stats for the modern era. (I don’t know, but that is my best guess).

I think it’s just Beltre’s bust, with a stray hand on top of his head.

By numbers and longevity it should be almost impossible to keep him out of the HoF - last I checked, I think he’s in the top 100 all time for WAR, or in very rarified company. But he played for a lot of teams, and there are so many writers willing to go with the “he just doesn’t *feel* like a Hall of Famer” argument...

But the article made a statement about all men. Why, in your brain, is it a somehow invalid or pathetic response to criticise a blanket statement?
