Yeah seeing the cops in their face-covering bandanas and rounding up all the people in Nixonville, it wasn’t much of a mental stretch to imagine them on the wrong side at some point. Kept thinking to Attack of the Clones when the stormtroopers, who never seemed right fighting alongside Yoda et al, got their switches

Most of the way through the first ep I thought “This guy is definitely in the Kavalry.” But the fact that the reveal came in ep 2... Considering the pedigree/history of Lindelof, who’s never seemed to be in love with parceling out key information (end of Lost dragged/stumbled to finish line, Sudden Departure never

Also, is it weird that it was a tomato TREE? I kept thinking about the poor PA who had to glue tomatoes to a tree.

He’s probably the kind of guy who would complain about the netting around the lower seats and say that it was worth a couple kids/grandmas getting hit with screaming line drives as long as other people could get a foul ball.

“Analytics/The Deep State is RUINING AMERICA’S GAME! Do you think they booed/shifted their defense against Ted Williams!?

SOMEONE I HATE DID SOMETHING I DIDN’T LIKE 45 YEARS AGO AND IF YOU DON’T REMEMBER THAT *YOU’RE* THE PROBLEM, NOT CLIMATE CHANGE!

This whole thread is just absurd. “Benioff and Weiss hired good people who could do their jobs for them! (when the series was good).” and then “benioff and weiss are total hacks who never knew what they were doing and they were in total control (when the series was bad).” You can’t just pretend seasons 1,2,3,4, and 6

Yeah, they’re the ones that sound “entitled.” definitely...

The name was used in the past-tense (there WAS a guy named...), and he quickly abandoned the joke and moved on.

Chance is likeable/talented, but man he is NOT a good SNL host. I think the only sketch he wasn’t constantly cracking up in was the ghost/cemetery one. You think a week of rehearsals and then the dress rehearsals would help you get the giggles out before the live show...

I know he’s not a professional actor/comedian, but if we’re going to give people shit for breaking all the time... there wasn’t like a 16 second stretch at any point of the show where Chance wasn’t laughing. And in a couple spots he even wandered into a shot on someone else just cracking up. I thought the ep was

This is disappointing to hear, because having an air fryer HAS changed my eating life, and the regular Tyson’s chicken fingers is one of my guilty go-to snacks.

Is it really the sleazy ivy league-ness that is the problem though? When the Yanks signed Chapman, or when the Mets re-signed Reyes, or when the Cubs got Chapman (srsly, f that guy), it was more of a low-key face-rubbing of “yeah, this is a baseball move” and “due process” “charges dropped” etc.

    “$27K!? WHERE DO I SIGN!?”

I said just dunk. Maybe a somersault with a twist. And there are definitely mascots that can do that.

Have they remastered Mac and Me? Seems like the quality of this clip looks a lot better these days.

ha totally missed that... And it didn’t go THAT much better...

He looks more like Frank Sinatra than Frank Sinatra, Jr.

It’s basically a dead heat between him and Prince Harry for the most obvious “Has a no-so-secret-secret dad” title.

I don’t know why, but I’ve always felt like using “’em” instead of “them” really notched this joke up from genius to legendary.
