You can pretty much pinpoint this as the moment this show went from entertaining diversion to must watch for me.

It’s sort of amazing how all these people picking nits about Trek seem to not understand the episodes of Trek they love so much. If that future were the real future, Picard would have an awful beard and be suffering dementia and this would be a much different show.

I mean, jesus, have they been storing Data/B-4 underwater for the last 20 years? Cam androids get puffy?

It is also sort of hilarious that he has zero interest in celebrating with his teammates. Ever when they catch up to him after every goal, he never even makes eye contact. It’s like a bunch of kids congratulating their dad at work.

OUTSIDE of right foot, to boot. In midair. Just a fantastic strike.

There really is a sweet spot where I can really go from hating a boastful shit talker to really appreciating a shit talker who is just awesome and can back all the shit up. That is Zlatan.

Ten years ago--heck, even after two Thor movies--how many people would have guess that Thor would be the Marvel franchise to log the most movies? It’ll equal the number of Avengers movies with this one.

More than almost any modern actor, I feel like Portman’s performances hinge hugely on the director. Hoping the new tone and Waititi and coax it out of her for this one.

Is “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” supposed to be a winking nod to “The Falcon and the Snowman”?

I dunno... if Zachary Levi and Adam Brody who be mosty-convincing in ridiculous muscle suits for Shazam! i will reserve judgment on Portman’s possible Thor-ness.

I also like how her speech is all super casual now. I guess it’s like someone getting more comfortable with a foreign language.

Yeah, I feel like they didn’t need to go with the Borg in this, considering that’s what every Trek show since Voyager seems to have done to try to recapture interest.

Holy SHIT did i miss Picard’s sweet Star Fleet jackets!

I mean, if they pull an all-hands-on-deck with this and use every hero who’s ever appeared, i think they could pull in at least thirty. The only big guns you’re really missing are Bats and Wonderwoman. And a GL maybe.

Still not sure if it was good or bad, but MAN did he evoke Christopher Reeve in that movie. Gave me chills.

You did miss the part where “innocent until proven guilty” is not anywhere in the NFL personal conduct policy. Players have been suspended for a lot less than what Hill is accused of.

If “mediocre” is the starting point, I am optimistic. When Arrow started it seemed like a “WTF why a Green Arrow show (that’s not even called Green Arrow)?” And then by the end of the second season it was maybe my favorite show on TV. And Legends started way below mediocre (she was just a barista, after all), at a

Exactly. I don’t think a single person would have predicted three years ago that Legends of Tomorrow would wind up being the best of all the CW shows, and it took a whole (short) season for them to figure out the show they were actually supposed to be making. Definitely willing to give Batwoman a chance while they

Not at all, but feel free to keep guessing.
