I came across what I feel is the most confounding piece of Kyrie merch recently.

If you’re tired of explaining it, feel free to stop, because this is wrong anyway. The flag code does not only apply to an actual physical flag that you run up a mast.
Hey, I am all for Nike pulling the shoe, support Kaep, and i certainly DO give a crap about the flag code. I don’t really know why, but I decided some time ago that I would commit most of the big rules to memory. I dunno, it’s kind of an affectation I suppose. Point is, some people DO care about the flag. And I get…
Ah... that actually... makes sense. I guess I’m so used to looking for the more absurd reason that the most logical one didn’t even pop up on my radar.
Also, let’s face it- If Trump tweeted that water was wet, I think we can all agree it would be somehow in the grossest way possible.
The problem with this analysis is that we don’t really even have a two party system anymore. The Republicans aren’t a party. It’s just Trump. The closest thing we have to two actual, real political parties is the left of the Democratic Party—AOC, Bernie, et al— and the Biden centrists/moderates who are basically 1980s…
Yeah, in the very, very best and most charitable analysis, this could at best be seen as “the enemy of my enemy...” Still a goon, will probably still vote with the GOP in nearly everything, but I do hope he wins reelection just to show that you can stand up to Trump and still keep your seat.
I know this is just a stupid and pointless question, but why is “quitting” in quotes in Trump’s tweet?
So did they talk to him before Stuart Townsend was fired from the role, or before all that?
I’d say you were thinking of Teen Wolf Too, except no one ever thinks about Teen Wolf Too. (plus that was 1987).
I mean, couldn’t the title of this movie have been the much better “Styft”?
Yeah, remember thinking the whole thing was a giant scam. I don’t think I made my first online purchase until 1999. It was from Amazon. Fountains of Wayne’s Utopia Parkway. I think one of the only CDs I kept, and only for this reason.
I am just sort of fascinated at what kind of person decides to become a cop. I’m sure there are some who actually want to do good, but even they end up towing the Thin Blue Line. And the rest I feel like are either already bullies, or the kind of people who volunteered to be hall monitors, or people who had zero…
Would paying cops way more help? Would anything make being a cop a more desirable job to anyone not in the bottom 10% of their high school class who just couldn’t commit to being in the Army? Or is it just always going to be mostly for people who either peaked in high school or for people who were bullied in high…
She actually said “caged animal”? While actual children are in actual cages. Her being on a nationally televised television show makes her feel like a caged animal. Fuck, her fucking DAD WAS LITERALLY CAGED. Let’s all shed a tear for Meghan in her time of hardship.
Eh, I can imagine what a terrified fall in snow is like, unfortunately. And that’s something, however unlikely, I could practice at and attempt. Physically, there’s zero chance I’ll ever dunk a basketball. It would require magic. Or science. Or a terrifying mixture of both.
I think the most satisfying thing about this is the placement of the camera. It’s at an angle you rarely see from, and it’s placed in a spot where it’s basically right behind the trajectory of the ball on every swing. Makes for a mesmerizing show.
Still can’t decide if I were given one sports wish that would grant me one act, whether it would be to know what it feels like to mash one long home run, or tomahawk slam a basketball. Watching this really makes me think I’d pick the homer. That looks satisfying as fuck.
Shit, I am from not too far from Allentown. I had no idea Iaccoca was from there, and i had even less idea that his family founded Yocoo’s. Then again, my parents would never buy us hotdogs made from regional brands, so I had little actual exposure to Yocco’s. Just saw them everywhere.
Kudos to Lee, a titan of industry who managed to be 94 and wasn’t eventually revealed to be a complete monster. I honestly didn’t even know he was still alive. And if you’re a famous American CEO and live quietly til 94... that’s probably the best case scenario.
