I couldn’t have engineered a better comment
on a completely unrelated note, this reminded me of an engineering joke:
I’m not saying any of the things in your first paragraph. I was trying to agree with you which also did not come across.
You’re absolutely right. But we now have one car that is a very modern pushbutton start with the key fob or phone in the pocket. The other you need to start the car with the key. Guess which one is better even though the key start only takes a few extra seconds?
Totally agree. And even then I’m surprised every now and then when I come out of the store and there is a car parked next to mine with 30 empty parking spaces closer to the store.
When did BMW hire the designer of the Pontiac Aztek?
My buddy and I took a Saab 900s across 21 states and logged 11,200 miles in less than a month. We were celebrating graduation.
Dog food A (cheap brand) could have 2 pounds of WET chicken and it’s listed as their highest volume ingredient. This ends up being half a pound of DRY chicken when dry.
I heard from someone who is a vet and close to the pet food industry that one of the differences between higher and lower quality foods is when they weight the ingredients that they put on the packaging.
In general I understand why the technology is there but I particularly hate start/stop tech when turning left in a busy intersection. There is a delay in the brake pedal being lifted and the engine being ready to move the car forward. This delay can cause problems when the window of opportunity is very small.

I know this is extremely rare but it is worth mentioning in case this man did not feel comfortable getting in a car with the person and would rather risk losing a car…
Fom Canada here... our school has gone homework free as of a couple of years ago. They do encourage reading and other learning activities instead. They’ve replace homework with some pretty great long term projects (3-4 weeks) that they work on in school and at home. At the end of my 7th grader’s second term she and a…
Reverse: I think the Bond Lotus Esprit Sub is the coolest car from any movie (not just Bond movies). Dr. No’s DB5 is a close 2nd IMHO
A red ‘93 Probe GT was my first car. For so many reasons I loved it. Handling, engine, interior and colour were all great in my opinion....but I was biased.
a few years ago I absolutely agreed. It feels like he bitches alot less now and has learned to just dish it out instead. I am not a Pens fan but admire what they have accomplished. I could be imagining things though.
I am aware of the difference and did not say anything to the contrary. To satisfy, perhaps I should have pointed out that the XC90 Polestar treatment is an engine tune that helps torque and HP in my comment?
