Blowing the train horn might send it in reverse

I want to see a full shoot-out between this, a golf cart, and a segway. It needs to include a drag race, an autocross, slalom, a maximum range competition, and maybe a light off-road section at the least.

First mod: Train horn.

He might burn it out before the burnout.

Level 3 seems totally useless if you have access to overnight charging. If you’re parked there all night, why do you need 25kW?

IDK, these things seem to work alright.

How about ‘motorhead’ instead?

About 20 years ago, when I was still working for a major OTR carrier, I delivered an entire trailer-load of Bandag-recapped tires mounted onto center-pilot rims to Pines, a major trailer builder. Our company’s NEW trailers were being sent out the door with recaps.

This is unfortunate as trucking is a very important component of our economy, but due to the relative ease it is to obtain a license, say compared to Physician, that’s what drives down the value of what it provides for the economy. Unfortunately it will only get worse as states allow more autonomous vehicles to

Define failure rate?

Last mile is trucks sure. It’s the 3000 before that that shouldn’t be trucks.

“It’s only when it’s done poorly, with low standards, or no QC is it an issue.” describes every single retread shop I have seen not to mention the thousands of tire tread carcass I see on the side of the roads everyday!

Uggh. Retreads. I had a car with less than 2000 miles go to the bodyshop for a new front bumper and paint on the fender and door because of a truck spitting out a retread. Those things are like the state flower of Pennsylvania.

I think the real problem is that not enough trailers look like this:

The truckocalypse can’t happen soon enough. We should be using rail, ships, and airplanes for long haul, leaving the roads for cars.

I don’t know about perfectly safe They have a much higher failure rate then new tires. Maybe we can call them “safe enough”

Welp, truckers, read the tea leaves. This is the decade robots take your jobs.

Fuel cells are a good idea, but FEEDING a fuel cell is the problem,

Im not convinced on fuel cells.  If hydrogen was easier to get, transport and store it would be one thing.  i.e if you could pump liquid hydrogen out of the ground we’d already be using it.  Electricity is a wonderful fuel for transport and ease of access.  it just sucks to store it.  Hydrogen sucks to get, transport

There is an infectious virus out there for which we have no treatment. The air industry hasnt closed and its traffic is down 95% year over year.
