Religion is superstitious, socially corrosive bunk. Period. To the extent you support it, you're just engaging in self-destructive behavior, both on an individual basis, and in the wider social sense. There is no "good" that comes from religion that can't come from reality-based behavior. On the other hand, religion

@AuntBeast: yes, it's called a group marriage.

She did the right thing — she left Saudi Arabia. It's a backwards, primitive country under the mailed fist of religious wackos. No place for a sensible, capable person.

No no no nonono. Diesel doesn't go with "awesome." Diesel goes with "stink", "clatter", "dyed fuel" and "obnoxious" in varying degrees, depending on the specific design. Awesome is something like the Tesla. Yawn is Yet Another Gas Fueled vehicle. But diesel... ugh.

No, CGI doesn't ruin movies. But the lack of CGI, or bad CGI, cab do it.

Oh, this one is so easy. Omni Outliner Pro. Nothing else even comes close. As for the pen and paper suggestions... that's like comparing walking to flying in a jet. Yeah, you'll get there, but... I'll get there first.

@boxspelunker: You're totally off base. Sex toys are just sex toys, fantasy applied or not. Using them isn't creepy; but being overly concerned about them certainly is. My FF goes over 200 mb in just a few hours. I think it depends on what pages you visit; java-heavy, straight HTML, HTML5 with CSS, etc. In any case, I have to restart FF a couple times a day on my Macpro or it gets slow and can use upwards of 500mb.

I prefer Omniweb, it has *by far* the best tab system and the best site-specific preferences, but updates are rare and the company doesn't seem to try very hard to keep up with it.

I'd characterize this as "sharing taken to the level of a pathology."

Best device EVER for making pizza:

Honestly, I watch DVDs and Bluerays. Television has turned into a sound-bite ridden propaganda fest, sprinkled with shows aimed at people with IQ's well under 100. When I need news, I turn to non-video sources outside the US, where I can get more than 60 seconds worth of cut-addled superficiality on a subject.

My first was a brand new GTO. Man, I miss that car.
