The season finale of “3rd Rock From the Sun” that year had Phil as a criminal who kidnapped Harry and realized he was an alien. (Or at least a bona-fide freak. Oh yeah!) It ended on a cliffhanger. The next season started very awkwardly; you could tell they had to rewrite the episode without him.

I’m not sure how long the show can continue. Season 1 was great. Season 2 took everything from the first season and repeated it with the volume turned up to 11. The East Peck traditions were crazier, the wacky townsfolk were wackier, and the complicated case was ridiculously complicated. I still enjoyed Season 2, but

I wonder how many of the article’s authors actually remember these things from 1998.

In 1997, MP3 files were still tethered to sites like MP3.com, Musicmatch Jukebox, and Winamp.

It’s amazingly bad. The user experience with Kinjamprove wasn’t fantastic, but it was acceptable. This is just terrible.

You are technically correct. The best kind of correct.

Futurama takes place thousands of years from now

I’ve considered using Amazon/Whole Foods delivery a few times. I spend too much time searching through their surprisingly bad interface to find the items I want. Then I realize that the website lets you order a surprisingly small fraction of what’s available in the store, and doesn’t have as many sale items as in

He’s just a proud parent who enjoys listening to his kids’ music.

This would be much more exciting news if it were just The AV Club (or the Onion group) for sale. The Onion sites were nearly ruined by the Kinja integration. I’d love if an investor bought the good Onion sites and abandoned the other Kinja sites, but it looks like a package deal.

I’m pretty sure it’s Vince Russo.

Finally, a column about tipping!

This is a terrible way to review streaming shows. It clogs the site with reviews for a single show for one weekend, then requires readers to dig through the terrible site design to find the reviews after that.

He’s a Limey fork-flinger! What’s not to get?

Miller will just become remain a serial-killing cannibal.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention Jack’s Abby. They’re a lager-only craft brewery in Massachusetts that has been around since 2011. Jack’s Abby has done a lot more to normalize craft lagers in Massachusetts than Night Shift.

Skatrick Skateman? I love that guy!

He’s from the 70s.

It could be worse. At least 2-year-olds with type 10 diabetes are still relatively rare.

I got more of a Spaceballs vibe. Mallory and Princess Vespa went on similar killing sprees after the Stormtroopers damaged their drink/hair.
