If you've never seen it, why do you complain that you don't know what Girls is supposed to be? Watch a couple episodes and figure it out.

No, I mean the scene at the school where the students announce where they're from. Texas, Brooklyn, Homer, etc. Last night was the same joke, except they were international instead of American Krusties.

The international Krusty plot was identical to the setup of "Homey the Clown". Krusty needed money so he licensed out his name to a bunch of international/regional stereotypes. I realize that the show has been on for a million years and plots are going to be repeated, but this was more egregious than usual.

I try to watch Ground Floor, but I get distracted by the logistics. This huge building has a tiny support staff. There's one IT guy, one mailroom or facilities guy, etc. And they don't even have offices, just part of a suspiciously small basement that doesn't even have its own bathroom.

Who voiced the girl on Steven Universe? I missed the credits because I didn't record the second half of the episode.

Halfway down the page there's a "TV Club" box that lists the 10 most recent TV reviews, plus a highlighted review. (Currently for Mad Men.) Clicking on "TV Club" brings up www.avclub.com/tv, which has the latest 20 reviews. It's hard to find older reviews, but the recent reviews are right there.

Yes, Barney has always been a caricature. That was tolerable, though annoying, when he was the wacky best friend. Now most episodes focus on Barney. He's as much of a cartoon as ever, but he's more annoying because he's also the star of the show.

And the mailman had a Maine accent. The map definitely showed New Jersey, but the setting really feels like Maine. The town has a yearly lobster festival!

And since when does Moe serve any beer besides Duff?

It's been done. The Discworld book "Reaper Man" had a romance between a woman who becomes a wolf-woman and a wolf who becomes a wolf-man. They could only get together during the full moon.

I'm in the same situation. Alcohol consumption in my house has plunged. We probably won't get back to our old levels until our child is old enough to mix drinks, and that'll take years!

You forgot the best part:

The HBO warning didn't list Nudity for this episode, so it was especially unexpected.

The joke was kind of lame, but the cut to the theme music made me laugh.

Obviously not.  He died on Mac Day, and they were given the ashes on Frank Day.

I'm a huge fan of both Springsteen and The National.  Then again, I'm not Danny.  Danny hates everything new; there's no way he'd like any band that hasn't been around since the 70s.

I particularly enjoyed the store of the week, as I live down the street from a tandem bike store.

I like the show, but I watch enough nightly talk shows already.  Hopefully W Kamau Bell won't go on vacation the same weeks as Stewart and Colbert, so I can watch his show while theirs are in reruns.

I'd love if they actually interviewed the guest.  Or even if they fake-interviewed the guest.  There are always a few lines that sound improvised, like they're just a couple of funny people trying to make each other laugh.  Then the high-concept scripted stuff starts and I lose interest.
