This doesn’t preclude these people being convicted of a crime first, of course.

These guys broke the laws and should be punished accordingly, via the normal judicial process of the country. There is no need to go beyond into legal gray area and punitive actions.

I’m pretty OK with this precedent being set. They were allowed to gather, demonstrate, and use mobile barricades (trucks) for two weeks. Then they were given several days to disperse and remove all barricades after which stragglers would be arrested and barricades seized. That sounds more than reasonable and fair to…

It’s not extra-legal, and it’s not just about the whims of the party in power. The emergency act needs parliamentary approval, which it has received.  The protesters had plenty of notice that this would happen and those that chose to remain can live with that choice.

This would be fine if we had proof of vaccination to fly, but otherwise it’s one half of a solution. My opinion is that if your freedoms prevent you from receiving the vaccine, then you’re free to use your car and experience America’s many miles of beautiful roadways.

I hate saying this - but had this been an attractive white girl, this would be splashed across the national news, teams of volunteers would have been out searching this last month, and we’d have serious people, asking serous questions about what happened.
