That’s some “Experiment IV” stuff there. Great story, thanks for sharing it.

Yup. Elon will attempt to save face by saying the Cybertruck spurred the development of an electric truck industry, but that Tesla no longer sees the need to produce a vehicle in that market. Then expect him to announce a more practical--and conventionally appearing--electric SUV to sit above the Model Y.

Thanks for this more detailed answer to a question asked and answered on Reddit earlier this week.  ;-)

Remember that story a few weeks ago about more and more states refusing to license imports that don’t meet North American standards? Tread carefully...

This is how you get one of two different outcomes: 1) West Virginia’s Republican governor chooses a replacement, Republican, Senator to finish Manchin’s term. 2) Manchin gets pissed enough at the Progressives to take McConnell up on his offer, and becomes a Republican. West Virginia rejoices, Republicans take control

Purchasing a product on its own is so 20th century. If you can’t make people buy ongoing subscriptions for sometimes marginal services, can you even call yourself a 21st century business? Why shouldn’t automakers follow the paths of the music industry, airlines, cable tv, and video streaming services?

Omicron. It’s the Omicron variant. Why do people keep calling it Omnicron? That’s not a part of the Greek alphabet.

Newsflash. Anecdotes are not data. How many 15 year old carjackings *do* you have? Cite statistics. Otherwise you’re doing what so many other people who want to claim crime is rampant without actual evidence—using one or very few incidents to incite fear, then make policy based on your false statistics that ultimately

You have evidence to support that view? We never saw anything like that.

The police agency I used to work for had a no pursuit policy. We also were not allowed to drive more than 10 mph over the posted speed limit. You would think criminals would have a field day with such a policy. The truth is, you can never drive faster than radio. If we didn’t have someone in place to stop them before

Seriously. Especially since that’s exactly what they have.

You and me both. I don’t get the point of it anymore. You can always dump people who are abusive. All this system does is eventually drive away people who want to participate constructively.

Yes, it’s a car blog... that covers motorcycles, trucks, planes(!) and lots of other transportation related items. Seems to me bicycles fit too.

Say what? You don’t want Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hottie Sauce” on your chicken, even when the jingle is all about thots?

For colored folks who considered Hyundai when the Hamstars were not enough...

It’s like a Touratech catalog exploded and every item landed on this bike.

They’ll just do what they do now. Add a surcharge to your annual registration fee.

Didn’t realize it was your own personal plate. Never mind. My bad.

Trails and micro brew beer. For Texas you may as well say damned hippies.
