People say the Lexus grille wants to eat you. This is a wire slicer—the sort of thing you’d use on hard boiled eggs or soft fruit—that will turn you into chum. Or flay you alive.

You’re in a cabin of little switches, all alike...
Tesla doesn’t have to do anything nefarious with the data. The fact that it exists means that it can be subpoenaed. If I’m ever in a collision the last thing I want is for lawyers, other drivers, and the press to find out about my horrible taste in music.
I’ve been to Meridian. I didn’t stay there very long. I spent more time in Laurel. In all of the southern states there still a sense of “know your place” everywhere. For an outsider it’s hard to know exactly where your place is supposed to be. It’s led to some intense stares, but it’s rare that people will actually…
I’ve posted about this before here, at least a little. (not that anyone likely saw it as I’m rarely out of the grays :-( )
That’s about what I paid for electricity in Seattle when I lived there. Clean hydroelectricity and all the regulations that aid reliability. I guess there’s more than one way to get cheap rates...
I’m not sure why people are complaining about the construction and usage cost.
I encourage you to continue to see Amazon as a tech company. Do not underestimate the power of AWS.
What is this, an ad for the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation? No one needs a refrigerator with a “Genuine People Personality”.
Came here to say this. US 2 is great. The secondary roads put the interstates to shame. But if I had to pick an interstate I’d pick I-90, with the exception of Chicago. Never again.
Back in the day a “phone tree” was something else entirely. Yet another thing killed by the internet...
Colloquially known as the Doom Buggy.
Of course. It’s a design even Homer Simpson could love... especially when the kids are driving you crazy on your road trip.
They would just leave the port and segregate the data. You could get some data from the port, but it wouldn’t be the most useful data. So, gimping the existing ODB-II devices without making them totally useless.
It’s not too incendiary as far as I’m concerned, and I appreciate you sticking with it. It’s what people of good faith do when they don’t agree but are willing to listen to others who may not agree with them.
Heh. Please tell me these ads run back to back with “Car Shield” ads.
Facts? These aren’t facts in the legal sense, at least not yet. It’s a narrative that supports your personal biases. In other words, this is his *opinion*.
2nd week of November? Do you remember the 2000 election?
“And, I’m sad that all the advances and improvements that have come in the last 20 years are threatened with being swept away in fires and looting.”
In an earlier thread some months back I pointed out that white people get killed by the police too, using a horrible case in Arizona as an example. That isn’t really the point. We should ask what it is about U.S. policing that results in so many deaths at their hands. Our peer countries don’t have this problem.
