I was originally cross shopping the 535xi and the E350, both used. The NA V6 in the E350 felt weak against the N55 in the 5er but it was a much more luxurious experience. Then I found out that for the same price I was looking to spend on one of those I could get a 550xi. The E class was undoubtedly the better car, but…

The more I find out about that generation E-Class I slightly regret buying my 5 series. Then I remember how good the N63 is that type of car and wish I had some sort of weird German Frankencar with the BMW drivetrain and the Mercedes body and interior.

My mother’s Silverado has that same feature. The dealer eventually replaced the controller. She hasn’t had an issue since.

The suspension on the M5s aren’t horrible. I really don’t like the all or nothing power delivery of the F10 M5s car. The 550i had basically the same engine but was tuned to be much more driveable everyday.

Sorry, I don’t have the prerequisite furry ears and horrible toupee to drive either of those.
