If they can actually meet the prices of their former diesel offerings, they should be fine. Mid-20s to low-30s will probably not require the tax credit so much. If they pull a Tesla and the don’t sell the cheap ones or are $50k-70k then they’re royally screwed without the tax credit.

There are very few places in the US where $15/hr is not a livable wage and this is the thing that is missed in all of the protests for the minimum wage increase. I can’t compare to the other F30 3-series models as it’s the only one I drove, but the 320 was a laugh at road speeds. Rev the nuts off of it and it screems and it was plenty chuckable around the corners with none of the complexity of it’s bigger brothers.
