I’m 100% with you on this and to think before the Orange Twatwaffle got the nomination in 2016, I was a pacifist.

Trenching tool turned so the blade hits first.
I generally put that as “I’ll gladly be a Sargent and lead from the trenches but you and I both don’t want me as an officer leading things from behind the lines.” I’m just happy I found a company who was willing to accept that I am technical person not a management one.
That’s the thing though. No matter how altruistic it is to dispute the wording, it is completely reckless to remove the amendment that protects the majority of Americans from true slavery, not just wage slavery like most of us live in now. If he wants to change it then, push for reforms of the prison system and if…
I always wondered if their suppliers ever asked why they were always paid in cash.
I’m just hoping he doesn’t realize how nice it is and we lose the amusement of reading his Jeep restoration articles.
Is he running it at the 5.0l (1972 spec) or 5.4l (1973 spec) displacement? Some teams (Brumos and I’m sure other teams, as well) ran the 5.4l in the 917/10 for the 1973 season. The 5.4l engines were supposed to be capable of 1400+ HP in qualifying trim, while racing at around 900+ HP.
No doubt the shithead behavior that seemed to go hand-in-hand with that whole scene should not be forgiven in anyway.
I had a similar experience recently where I noticed that I was no longer driving for pleasure anymore. In my case, I put it down to the fact that I no longer had a vehicle that I wanted to drive if I didn’t have to. Now that I have something nice to drive again, I’m going to try and head out into the country for the da…
I was the same way. I grew up with motorsports around me from birth so the showiness aspect of it all rubbed me the wrong way at the time. Now I appreciate that they absolutely loved these cars that I considered to be absolute shitboxes at the time. I ended up being snobby about cars at the time, mostly because I had…
Is it weird that my first thought was “Oh that’s how they funded their sportscar racing in the ‘00s.”?
You forgot to add the electric steering into your argument list.
I have to wonder how David feels when taking pictures underneath a vehicle without shit falling on him.
You missed the “We should repeal the 13th Ammendment” and other attempts at making slavery look like it’s a good thing.
I’m happy to hear that. I grew up in a lower middle-class mostly African-American community in Saint Louis. I think in my high school of about 1500 students there was maybe 10-20 people interested in cars and this was in the height of The Fat & The Furriest JDM ridiculousness.
I’m at 32 now and my findings of the people around my age (all anecdotal and very generalized, don’t take this as gospel) are that it seems to be very dependent on the parents wealth, gender, and where they are raised. I find very few females who really care about cars unless they were raised around motorsports. In…
Wait you use spit? I though piss was what went on Wheaties.
I’m one of the weird VW TDI owners who’s trying to find tunes that don’t require the removal of the post-dieselgate emissions equipment, so yeah I think this was a dumb move by Ontario.
I think the other part of this is that they design their aero and gearing to work at a much higher speed than cars from other countries. I got my best mileage in my F10 550i at 80-85 mph. On my VW it’s in the 73-77 mph range.
I’m a fan of GasBuddy. You can track mileage and get fuel prices at the same time. Plus there is the added benefit of their Pay with GasBuddy card that gives you a 5 cent per gallon discount at most stations.
