He’s not the antihero we need, but he's certainly what we deserve.

Taking your kid to an Orioles/Royals game is child abuse.

I mean, if his parents brought him to a Royals - Orioles game, they obviously don’t love him. This is obviously a case of using the baseball as a substitute for the love he lacks from his parents.

Or you could pick up somewhere between 5 and 10 older Miatas (maybe more!), or one and a half to two newer ones.

The issue is that this is a non SCR TDI where it was very difficult to make it come even close to meeting emissions. The urea injection equipped TDIs from VW are fine even after the software updates that actually turn the damned system on.

I’ll second NegativeEd, knock off $5k and it'd be NP.

Dunno if it’s a third row model, but looks like this one had sliding doors for at least a few seconds there.

No, they call their high-ceiling vans “GT”s.

And the ending is gonna kinda suck

Is this her play for the coveted anime fan demographic?

The argument that it was a bang-bang play is ludicrous. Lucroy clearly choose the top half of the plate, and Marisnick was still a good distance away to readjust and aim for the back part.

1. I never said he shouldn’t have been called out since he did violate the rule about not having his body hit the ground before he made contact with the catcher. Didn’t think it was worth mentioning that I agreed with the call.

I mean, come on, man. . . He’s been in the league for seven years and has no history of dirty play. He was contrite in the immediate aftermath of the play, during post-game interviews, and on twitter. He said he made a split-second decision to slide towards the inside, that decision ended up being wrong, and he feels

That’s a lot of words to say that you don’t know how to look at pictures.

I mean, he said almost that. I feel as though his immediate reaction and subsequent apology were enough. I know this is the internet and that if people aren’t perfect they need to pay in blood and there is no mercy, but come on. This isn’t Chase Utley or Rougned Odor here.

“Do this and you won’t be called out.”

That’s not quite requiring the runner to slide, just strongly encouraging it.

He hit him SHOULDER-FIRST!

considering his body was almost horizontal when he made contact with lucroy (who i thought would be on an episode of let’s remember some guys by now) I believe him when he says he was diving for the inside corner of the plate.
