or you don't need some arbitrary made up reason to see your family. I'm don't need Christmas to spend time with family and i certainly don't need people telling me when i should see them or play my games.
Stick with it! I haven't finished the game yet but Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts is a great mission. Instead of just playing the game you're mostly playing The Game (as in the Orlesian kind). Back stabbing and scheming and arse-licking and money rubbing, as King Robert would have said (I know, wrong fantasy series!).
It changed the game dynamic for me, I would look forward to every time I was high enough level to take on the next beast... story/missions came secondary, and it felt 'right'.
Obligatory:
I have 2 words for you: Hunt Dragons.
The perks of handling some of the development costs. There's a difference between paying to keep an existing game off a platform and paying for a game to exist.
I very much agree about the sound design in this game - I actually even wrote a post about it, back in my dot.blogspot.com days. I love how they integrated the game's sound design with the dynamic score so that the line between music and ambient audio became blurred. I used to just put on surround headphones, go out…
I know it's weird to call a GOTY-winning title with a 95 metacritic score "underrated", but RDR doesn't quite get the continuing recognition it deserves. As the last generation of consoles wind down people look back at all the favorite games like Halo, GTA, Elder Scrolls etc. but it seems like RDR always gets…
Doc, we don't always agree, but you're absolutely 100% bang on with this piece. Rockstar's sound design is absolutely masterful. And what's more, it NEVER overshadows the game itself. But the sound is constantly there, making an impact even when the player doesn't actively listen to it.
Awesome, thanks for the info! I think I should be in that range after another mission, or some fooling around in the Hinterlands if I must....(doubt it, though...)
Oh capcom.. Remember this? (talking about 'years away from release', not the exclusivity)
2014, the year of mediocre early access survival games.
Progression thru the War Room's operations will also help a lot. Not only does it improve your friendship's standing if you complete an operation that was requested by a companion, it also will give you actual cut scenes and usually a mission to complete for them. At Haven you should've been able to at minimum get the…
The story really picks up after the 25-40 hour mark (depending on side quests). Seriously I was rather shocked- I quite liked my crew by the end.
If you only just got into Skyhold, then you have a lot of talking to do with Iron Bull. It is worth it. His over all character and the people he holds company with are some of the best moments in the game, including the conversations you have about Krem's gender.
I don't either. I didn't even know that was a glitch. I just assumed it was designed that way. Now that I know, I want music! LOL.
