I didn’t say it lessened my experience.
I didn’t say it lessened my experience.
I didn’t say they are forcing, I said they are trying to force, and it is working. There is a thread on the Bungie forum where masses of players are straight up admitting that the only reason they are playing Iron Banner is for Etheric Light.
It’s not silly at all. Why are the best rewards earned only in PvP for HoW? Why is it ridiculously easy to get Etheric Light in PvP, but rare in PvE? Before HoW, there hadn’t been a PvE event in Destiny since October, yet Iron Banner is every month offering unique gear. This is all because they want more people to…
I was waiting for someone to say that, and I would disagree. There are many more facets to PvE in Destiny, especially the raids, beyond just running around a small map and shooting other players. However, PoE is very similar to that, and I also find PoE pretty boring, except the more interesting bosses and mine…
There it is!
You cared enough to respond!
For someone who finds it boring, one match = one game.
That is what I meant by Bungie trying to force PvE players to play PvP just for Etheric Light. I REFUSE. I’ll get my Etheric Light via Nightfall and PoE. I’ve gotten two so far this week, and I only play with one character.
Like I said earlier, I don’t like Destiny’s PvP because I find it boring. Running around the same small map shooting other players is boring it to me. Control and Salvage were kinda fun when I had to do the Bad Juju bounty, but I was so happy when I was done with it. I’ve played other PvP games with more mechanics to…
My PvP favorites have been Watch_Dogs and Assassin’s Creed, specifically, the game modes that involve stealth, and outsmarting other players, as opposed to just shooting them.
Did I misinterpret your comment implying that I didn’t like PvP because I wasn’t good at it, and therefore, was also probably mediocre a PvE?
Who said anything about skills? It’s not about being bad at PvP, it’s about finding it boring. Trials of Osiris forces you to play at least 45 games on the same map where all you do is run around a small map and shoot other players? OK, no thanks.
I’m so happy I don’t waste my time with Destiny’s PvP. They are trying so hard to force PvE-only players to play PvP, and I REFUSE.
Because before mo-cap existed, there was dissonance between the audio and visual in almost every adventure game. How did people suspend disbelief when playing all of those games? There was no leap of logic here.
The fact that you dislike her so much means you do give a crap about her, but the feelings you have are negative.
Based on what you are saying, it should have been impossible for anyone to enjoy games and suspend their disbelief before mo-cap existed. Deal with it isn’t childish, it’s dismissive, because this is a stupid thing to focus on when the game doesn’t have photorealistic graphics.
Yeah, and is what I meant. They are throwing hints, but based on what we know, it doesn’t quite make sense yet, and it’s not clear exactly how they are connected.
Rawr. THAT’S MY FETISH.
How much?
The problem is that you are blaming the game, when in reality, it is you.
