Flight levels?

It looks like Michael J. Fox is flying

To be fair though, every other car in GT1 aside from the F1 were basically LMPs with a roof strapped on. The fact that so many of the GTRs are now converted to road use is proof of it’s usability as a true GT.

Thanks for your response. The V8 always sounded American to me at low RPM’s, but then again, what do I know? I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to many American V8-engined cars.

To my ears, at least from the drivers seat, the turbo whoosh was absolutely insane, and drowned out everything else except for maybe the

...How could it sound like a small block chevy? Like at all.

It’s VW clean diesel.

When I was moving the last of my belongings from Iowa to Maryland in the fall of 2000, I took US 33 in my mom’s old wagon. It was loaded with tons of my stuff, so it had no give. I felt every bump, twice. But, I was hitting 33 on what was supposed to be peak-leaf. Sadly, I got caught up in road construction prior to

I LOVE THAT ROUTE!

Me and my buddies hit it a least a half-dozen times every year. =D

P.S. - Nice to know there’s another Jalop in Greenville. If you see this little number around town, give me a wave:

I’m broke and have no skils that make me worth anything resembling even an acceptable living even here in the land of cold and misery. The only thing keeping my bills paid is the low availability of potential employees.

Anywhere in Southwestern, Va and North-Western/West, NC is awesome. Love it down there or anything going from VA to WV. VA 33 was awesome, my wife’s Acura hated it and kept cutting power in turns, need to take the Miata down there.

Fair enough. But have you never really had a car grow on you? One you nearly despised at introduction but every time you see it you like the proportions just a bit more until you, secretly of course, look at it one day and mutter under your breath “Shit. That looks good.”?

I moved to Newport Beach a few years ago, and I don’t even stop and stare into the McLaren showroom anymore. The only thing that catches my eye anymore are vintage classics (of which admittedly there are a lot).

Stripes. Stripes are slimming. The earlier cars were less bulbous having a smaller, flat piece of glass in the upper part of the hatch. This was the back window from the Mercury version. You may note that they did the same thing to the Capri of the era, to differentiate it from the Foxstang.

You’d be surprised. For instance, I know a gentleman who extensively tracked his GT3 RS 4.0 and currently does his 918.

You may do anything to get away from traffic and all that, but to someone else, they’re willing to put up with it because the alternative isn’t worthwhile enough.

I’m sure it’s functional but I cringe at the boy-racer wing. Just saw an E36 M3 yesterday on I-5 with a big rear wing and my eyes rolled dangerously hard. It was also slammed, of course. :(

Um... Is Chris Harris involved in the new show somehow?

This 1993 Mazda RX-7 is one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful car to ever come out of Japan.

Getting gas? Is a first-world problem?
