That’s not how you get rich, that’s how you have a comfortable retirement.

You’re correct, but you don’t take the argument to the logical conclusion. The only thing you can do to blend in with the private jet cloud is to genuinely make enough money to have a similar lifestyle. Anything short of that will just make you look like you’re posing and they will see through that at half a glance.

If you value your sanity, never go down the road of questioning Honda’s thought process on what models they homologate for which markets. It never has and never will make any sense.

sad truth right there

I want to argue against you, but I can’t. I hate how enormous modern cars are, but I’m a stick in the mud.

It met crash standards. Crash standards more stringent that the ones we have in the US too.

Yeah man, pops sold his back in 2009 with 28k miles for $24k and it was nearly definition of perfect (he’s the the most anal-retentive man I’ve ever known). Had he kept that car and was now trying to sell it with 90k miles, he might get $11k for it.

Good. The world needs the beautiful pandemonium that is the main straight after a Ferrari win at Monza. LeClerc up there representing the new hope of Ferrari will be a glorious day

I also think the status thing is gone. In DC you can’t shake a stuck without seeing a model S or model 3. Especially the 3. The 3 are showing up at autox in good numbers here too. That’s not a status thing. That’s the reality of Tesla making a reasonably priced, mega fucking fast 4 door car that is efficient and can

The “equivalent” displacement strategy was an interesting one as they transitioned from n/a to forced induction and I actually kind of saw the marketing sense in it. No one wants their new top-o-the-line (non M) 3 series to seem inferior to their neighbors old 330.

If you do the math on raw power to weight ratio, you never come out ahead with only adding 34hp at the cost of 75lbs.

100% correct on them being fucking dumb with their names. They should let engineers from Germany name their cars again. It was glorious to look at a 328 and know it was a 3 series with a 2.8l engine, a 330 with a 3.0 or a 540 with a 4.0.

Ah yes, the e30 M4. The one that started it all...

That’s the joke...

I think something next to that parking garage is on fire.

I think we are arguing two different things. I’m arguing that the Supra was a mid-pack driver’s car and you’re arguing that it made good numbers. Two completely different things that can both be true of the same car.

Wait seriously? I LOVE YOU. I mean, I thank you. Going to try this on the next road trip we take in her car.

Sure, now. If these cars stop selling, you can bet your butt they’ll change their tune.

You don’t get wagons, but I don’t get SUV.

They should just start charging more. I’d pay more. I never used them because they were cheaper than a taxi, I used them because the entire experience was better than a taxi. Hail with an app, know the location of the car en-route, never handle cash, have records and recourse if some shit goes down. None of that was
