I do agree that it’s problematic to lump folks into two categories - basically white and other. Like I said earlier, I was mainly concerned that, first, the breakdown along race and ethnicity was actually obscuring the data by flattening the numbers, and second, that folks kept reference the numbers of white folks…

Right. This shows that for every white person dying in custody, at least one person of color dies.
