Anno and Kojima is like... super-depressing apocalyptic nonsensical dreamteam. Holy shit.

That’s coming to PC this month.

Whew. I was scared I was gonna have to buy an Xbox One for a minute there. (I’ll probably still have to at some point anyways)

Am I here before the, “It’s the Steven Universe of video games and those fans are bad so this game is bad” grumps?!

Exactly. In general, particularly as a creator myself, I find that fandoms can easily become a very toxic force for both the creator and the fans.

I actually only just heard about this yesterday. That’s how far removed from that fandom I am despite loving the show. And that’s completely fair. But it’s important to note that the source materials needn’t suffer for the fandom doing something that is explicitly warned against in the show itself. People,

That’s interesting. You don’t think fandoms in the past were founded upon people seeing something new and different? Do you really feel personally threatened by people enthusiastically asking people to open up to something, even if their methods are kinda stupid? I’m not endorsing their behavior, just quantifying it.

Oh yeah. That’s shitty no matter who you are. I feel like a lot of these people might also be kids haha

Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand this line of thinking, but I tried to stop myself looking at things this way once I realized that these obnoxious fanbases are usually made up of enthusiastic people who are seeing identities and ideals they identify with explored for the first time in mediums that they love

And what’s wrong with that, exactly?

Wouldn’t a list of top 10 exclusives for PS4 just be a list of the exclusives for it right now? I mean, I’m struggling to think of 10.

This site cost my parents so much money in printer ink. God bless.

Omg what is this from? It looks familiar, and some unsettling feelings just came creeping out of the back of my mind hah

Without sounding too much like an abject pothead— that’s really too bad, because rural Japan would be so beautiful to smoke in.

Perhaps you should come to terms with the fact that some of the youth movements you turn your nose up at are actually quite substantive, and just because they don’t fit your aesthetic doesn’t mean they’re disqualified from doing anything important.

Is this not MGS V’s mission system?

I prefer the term “edgelord,” seeing as most people I know who theorize about stuff like this are well into their 20’s and sometimes in their early 30’s.

Talk to me about that when your first generation of gaming is decades behind you.

It seems to me like people are making a bigger deal of V’s budget than it is. You know the average Gran Turismo spends in excess of $80 mil.

It’s still a game that— at 60 hours and pacing myself lightly (taking the time to actually recruit and develop— I’m only halfway 39% through. I would say that’s a pretty big game. And at least bigger than any Metal Gear to date. Yes, it sucks it was unfinished, and I say that as a huge MGS fan, but to say that it’s
