It’s obviously more complicated than that. People can prefer a game’s original fidelity if it pleases them better without them being a hipster or douchebag. I’m one of those people. It looks amazing- like a crossover with XCom in the gameplay sense. And that’s exciting, Mario always shines when they genre-bend. Happened with Mario RPG and now we have a whole beautiful canon for that. I have to say I couldn’t care less about Rabbids, but... I can’t deny the charm.

Mmmm, I think that, theoretically, she was trapped in some metaphysical state in that “cocoon” or whatever it was that Ganon was trying to resurrect his physical form in. I got that impression from her disembodied voice and the way she didn’t physically manifest until the end.

4K and HDR are gonna become the new standard— particularly HDR, as it’s a more tangible difference versus a boost in pixel count— it just isn’t there yet.
