Yep. But it’s fancy vinyl.

With the velocity and apparent pressure, you aren’t doing anything with backboards except getting tossed around.
Depends on how you ride. I used to put 60 miles on a ‘73 in no time flat. That’s all groomed trails though. Relatively flat, smooth, and decently wide. I could average 40-50 mph.
It’s not that bad. I mean sure it can be a bit of a walk but those casinos aren’t going to relocate for a train. It also beats walking from one end of the strip to the other or taking a taxi.
I’d like to invest!
The Big 3 still reign supreme for a large portion of the US. In a lot of small towns, you’ll only find one of them. Class leading or not, lots of people have attachments.
Yes.
I once borrowed a 10' inflatable with a trolling motor and a deep cycle marine battery. I got drunk for hours in that thing tooling around at like 2-3 mph.* Drive out slowly, let the wind push me back to shore, drive out......... It was great fun and lead my to getting an actual boat.
Batteries don’t care how cold it is outside. They care what temperature the actual pack is.
If you are used to the sleds from the 80's, you’ll be astounded by how heavy the new stuff is. I grew up on a 73 El Tigre 340 and could throw that thing around when I buried it. New stuff with 14+ inches of rear travel and way more weight are a 2 man job.
Also worth pointing out, most riders are either banging ditches, or in the mountains, where heavy throttle inputs are the norm, not the exception, so range better be what they say it is.
The case you are envisioning will always be gas. Hell, even those that put serious miles on their sled will stay gas.
EV’s are fine for cars. Guess what you don’t find on trails, charging stations. Guess what degrades significantly in cold weather? Batteries. Guess what lives it service life in cold climates? Snowmobiles.
It’s made of cheese and very tasty. Only way to harness it is to melt it in a fondue pot and dip some tasty foodstuffs into it.
Breaking news: People discover there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Learn better option has compromises and isn’t perfect, promptly bitch about it.
But it’s a slapstick-style comedy that works quite well for these three.
The 30 year loan has been the main driver of home ownership and the economy as a whole for a long time. People who buys homes spend more locally through schools, restaurants, home improvement and all that versus renters.
Housing is a bit more nuanced from what i’ve read. I’ve read several articles that point out that supply of new homes was cut back for about 5-7 years during the crash of ‘08 and subsequent years. Basically what it amounts to is a perpetual shortage that isn’t going away as my generation comes into their high earning…
GAP insurance is a scam.
That’s part of it. In colorado the law dictates that the sentences be served consecutively versus concurrently. That also play into all of this.
