So should we get rid of automated CNC machines? Where do we stop advancing technology in order to save jobs?

Sure that may be the case but how many struggling teams will no longer be struggling and can invest more in R&D. Creating jobs in that area.
Meh. People carry more gear than they need. I rocked a twin stroller in the trunk of a 9-3. Seats are big, especially when rear facing. All the other stuff people drag along is fluff.
A lot of Ramen as well.
How else am I suppose to fill my suburban single family home with equipment that I rarely use? I need to project to my neighbors how awesome I am!
Hey look, a topic that needs nuance and there’s none of it to be found!
You leave my lifestyle compadres out of this. We need our roof tents when we go to REI!
I really want an i8 in my garage someday.
Tariffs won’t fix the trade deficit. Money just flows in a big circle.
Yep. Tariffs never have the intended effect.

Gee, if only I had thought of that except for that whole missing rpm to make the equation work part.
Forget the HP number, I want to know how much torque that thing makes.
That can’t exist as most gearheads can’t find it.
A friend of mine is a pilot. For some reason, he needed 1000 or 1200 hours. I think that was because he went to college to be a pilot. Apparently there are a couple good schools for that and he went to one of them.
...everything to do with people not willing to upend a significant portion of their lives for the meager pay and time it takes to finally get to a mainline carrier.
I’m not a fan of fed requirements of my junk.
Sounds kinda awesome to me. M&M’s though. What a heathen. Skittles are superior.
Given that we aren’t really privatizing space at all, this seems weird. Literally anyone could go to space if they had enough money but only government’s and a handful of people do. Also, why does it seem bad? You quote a self taught guy flying to the edge of space, that sounds awesome to me.
My grandpa quit when his brand went up to a quarter a pack. That was too rich for him apparently. I have no idea what year it was but I find it kind of hilarious.
