Mr. Vishnevetsky is leaving the AV Club. -
Based on the landscape in the trailer, perhaps it is set in High Rock. Any theories?
Jim Night Shyamalan? Count me in! Especially with Emily Blunt - is she ever bad?
I enjoyed these special Oscar Editions. It was great to see you talk in a bit more depth about some great films - these videos are always too short! Thanks, a fan.
Of course it’s a very good song!
That one scene in Baskets. You know the one I mean, right?
I appreciate being able to see the individual ballots, Film Clubbers!
My man PTA with the high accolades, Ms. Gerwig coming in strong.
Fuck you, Larry!
He is not merely a reviewer or a commenter (that’s us!)
I’ve loved the 2017 Film Club and I look forward to watching ya in ‘18.
I hadn’t heard anything about this but I like that cast for a Western.
Love the shoutout to his Fiona vids. He knows how to film a beautiful face!
These are my own favourite albums of the year (loosely ordered 1-10):
This Film Club series has been growing and maturing and at this point is quite well-done and professional! They write terrific reviews but they’re worth a watch, too.
I’m so happy Laura Dern seems to be having a very strong few years. For all you uninitiated: watch HBO’s Enlightened immediately!
I might check out the Elizabeth Reaser ep. Would much rather the whole show centered on her!
Fair warning: make sure to watch the episodes in production order. They’re on Netflix in airing order, which is confusing as hell!
