Just today I thought that new top gear, or another entertainment based car program, could make a film about off road capabilities of those small SUVs.

I started disliking the place 3-4 months ago, after I adored it for years. I hope we (gear heads, development team, spectators, mankind) get it back in its former glory and maybe even better. But I don't see it happening.
Here in Germany one of the biggest events at the Nürburgring that the public noticed was music festival each year that gathered 80’000 people each year, huge bands, media coverage. The racing isn’t in the media very much. And the new owners of the place made the festival move elsewhere after over 25 years and just 2…
As I understand are the lap record attempts done at week days, so the whole place is rented out to somebody. Mostly car companies and their development teams, sometimes drivers training and stuff. So they would run the place as fast as possible anyway. That's the reason to do the work there. Maybe it's just a ban from…
I think the track owners/Russian investment group is going to ruin the whole place even more then it already was.
What game is this from?
It's obviously the best idea to floor the gas all the way through the city if you’re late due to rough weather conditions.
He even was on Top Gear before. May borrowed a vintage Ferrari out of this guy’s Ferrari collection. Weird guy.
I'd rather watch 2 Chris Evanses park white Ferraris into a purpose built living room then a show with Sabine.
So the wuss with the collection of cars, that he won’t take to play outdoors with, will present top gear. So far, I find this guy highly irritating and unsympathetic. I wanted to be unbiased towards the new format, but I don't yet see this thing appealing to me. I hope it'll be alright.
Jalopnik should start to refer to cars as highway vehicle objects, or HVOs in longer texts. Off roaders could be referred to as highway vehicle related objects. Let's start a new thing here!
I actually expect to be able to buy parts and even airbags for cars that were made until 2005 or 2007. I never really thought about that really. Since they need to redesign the airbags, I guess they’d need new tools anyway. But I don’t know. I wouldn’t trust an airbag that is just somehow fitted into the original…
Every car/model has uniquely designed airbags. Even if another airbag might technically fit and work, it's highly unlikely that it would work in the way the manufacturer designed it. According to how the airbag can unfold in space and time, which are different variables in different cars, it needs to be exactly to…
I doubt that. 190hp + 15 and you’re still way off. Headers and a cold air intake won’t fix that. The M3 has a 3.15 rear axle instead of the 2.93 in the 328i. You'll need at least pricy head and cam work or a supercharger, and then you most likely reached the sum you'd have spent on an M3.
I doubt you can take the 328i to the performance levels of an M3, even the American spec’ed ones, easily. Ever been after performance mods and brakes and wheels you’re 50hp short. And you won’t get this kind of power out of an na engine easily.
That's what I thought, but I wasn't 100% sure. Maybe they found a way to cut fuel in a way that flow will be limited at a certain rpm figure.
He is actually overtaking that Viper.
I thought Mercedes pulled out of the race because they wanted to get the cars out of France to save them from being inspected by French authorities. They didn't just stop racing, they packed all their stuff including the crashed car and headed straight back to Stuttgart. I never thought about the WW2 connection, seems…
I've heard stories.. And it's defiantly on my list!
I’ve yet to see them performing, I’d once just missed them, by arriving late at an event they played at, and then I’ve seen them walking around the area I just to hang out.
