Agreed. I think we should consider the attractiveness of each man SOLELY limited to the time of winning. Ford's main "con", crankiness, is part of "cranky old man" syndrome. He was young and handsome and suitably non-cranky at the time of winning.

I just read a NY Magazine article about Benedict Cumberbatch that discusses this exact thing. It seems that People Magazine develops a short list every year, then reaches out to managers/publicists of men on that list. In order to be considered for "winning", the guy has to sign a contract agreeing to a certain

I just about died when he guest starred on that episode of SVU with Mariska Hargitay.

I saw him live in Central Park Shakespeare a couple years ago and he was AWESOME!!!!

I need to spend some time on Twitter. Can you link or quote some of the better ones here?

FAR less douchey.

Jesus, THANKS for reminding me about this movie! We have it on DVD but my 13 year old daughter hasn't seen it yet (and she loves Drew Barrymore; she's watched "Fever Pitch" like 20 times). I may have to pick it for family movie night and live through my husband's groans (he is irritated by Drew's rather uneven

Alan Rickman is unto himself.

Yeah, I'm in a somewhat similar situation. My thirteen year old is in love with (and has been since she was a toddler) Cosby's very early stand up (and really doesn't know any of his other work). She knows his "Noah" skit verbatim. I really didn't find out about any of this until a few years ago and am at a bit of

Major props for not one, but TWO sentences mentioning Billy Bragg. I kissed him after a concert once (well, it was on the cheek and accompanied by a rather chaste hug) and it was AWESOME!

The trailer looks terrible, which is depressing to me because the past few Muppets movies have sucked and Wallace and Gromit seem to have bitten the dust. So what have I got to live for now?

There has already been a few "Peanuts" films (theatrical releases, no less) over the past few decades. So that ship has sailed.

I'm still wondering that he didn't ask her why she couldn't just put her "anti-rape face" on.

Yeah, Heigl was riding high there for a few years; Shondaland made ALL of that possible. She quit the show, blew through a bunch of shitty romcoms, and publicly did a number of questionable at best/shitty at worst things. She offended and pissed off a number of powerful folks AND made awful project choices

I think you're forgetting for a moment that this is Reddit we're talking about. Many Darwin Award cases over there.

I love this part particularly (bold mine):

I forgot he was in "Atonement". Yes, he was the creepy chocolate bar rapist dude. Almost unrecognizable.

Yeah, and one of the party games for the tots could be literally (and I mean literally) flushing cash down one of their fancy commodes.

Of course. Streep is always fucking awesome.
