Your criticism is constructive imo. Maybe I'm biased because I agree with you? It would be nice to see a few more games I'm personally familiar with. Xexyz, anyone?
Totally. This has probably been my favorite since the Ninja Gaiden and Clock Tower episodes.
Not every sound we have is available to the Japanese language. Hence, katakana, and why it sounds like the Kacho is saying "She Ecks" when he is saying "CX." Also, don't forget that the subtitles are localized. You're not reading a literal translation, you're getting the closest approximation that makes sense in…
Japanese 1 was so long ago, but I recall the order the information falls in not being as important as having having all of the information correctly conjugated and ending with the correct punctuation. I remember it being a bit abstract. Someone get Brian Ashcraft on the phone.
"Ice-blocking" should be a thing now.
Sorry to hear about the pain :( , but I think that experience is what makes this article so effective. Doing research online for advice like this is surprisingly difficult. Most "tips" are actually book lists, which is all well and good, but being knee deep in my own project I find that at this point honest feedback…
This article and others like it over the years is the reason I read this blog above all else. Your advice on learning how to interpret criticism in the "diagnosis" section is brilliant! I have never heard that scenario described that way and just that part alone was honestly more helpful than entire writing classes…
Get SyFy on the phone. Jackpot!
It goes back and forth: crime, penetration, crime, penetration, and on and on like that for a full 90 minutes.
Well, Velma, I decided to run out like a lunatic into a hurricane dressed in last year's Party City clearance-sale Spider-Man pajamas so that I could be on the Channel 13 Hampton News for approx. 2 minutes. Where is your God now? Back to you in the studio.
I've always thought the one thing missing on Kotaku was penetration. Has this made you guys consider an actual Kotaku show? I've been really enjoying RGM and would definitely keep coming back for a weekly Kotaku review or something.
They recently shook Obama's hand with their new prosthesis. No one makes it through Demon's Souls without paying a price.
As great as this game looks, I actually really dig the text commentary as opposed to a voice over. It's very slick and it allows the game to largely speak for itself, especially if there's a piece of dialogue or sound effect that might add to the experience. You don't have to interrupt your thought to let the audio…
Waiting for the "this is a disaster" vid, btw.
I've lived in Los Angeles and I can say that while living on the West Coast and experiencing many earthquakes, I at least had the slight comfort of "these happen all the time. The buildings here are built to codes meant to withstand this." Now living on the East Coast, even recognizing the event still freaked me out…
Can we watch them "press the detonate button" on the plaza and the theatre from within Home? Explosions would make it all worthwhile. I was going to make a joke about them trying to make it a literal abandoned theme-park. As long as I keep all the junk I bought, go to town Sony. It is still the "beta" after all.
I never would have finished Demon's Souls, if not for the help and kindness of strangers using the online co-op feature. That is something I am not able to say often and the whole experience really increased my appreciation of online co-op all together. I don't play MMO's and I'm guessing that's what people…
Very funny how Cloud kept stealing the show.
