So happy Legend of Galactic Heroes made the chart! Yang 4ever.

Nice, clear, and concise way to welcome new members (and commenters) "to the table," to continue your metaphor, Stephen! I have to say, the Kinja switch has been really smooth, relatively painless, and it looks sharp. Would be great to see some more color, though!
Banagher and Audrey are the core of the story and I think you'll find Unicorn to be in line with most of the Gundam series; the introduction of new main characters each season allows the viewer to learn about whatever present conflict is going on as the rookie pilot does. You become invested in that particular…
I've always felt that The Mars Volta's music should speak for itself, because even going back to ATDI, Cedric is off-putting when discussing band matters. I know we're discussing the "other half," but is Sparta still around? Porcelain still gets play in my car stereo.
It probably makes very little sense out of context, and I've never read how to actually interpret them. Just figured I'd share.
So, without cheating and going to wikipedia or google, I have a Tai Chi book from ages ago that has hexagrams from the I Ching in it...the one on Snake Eyes' shoulder is, and I quote:
Awesome! Thanks for responding Annalee!
My Robonukkah wish was granted! Just ordered mine. Totally sporting one of these around town. Any chance of some meet-ups in the new year for the anniversary?
Dude, idk about you, but when I watched it, there was even a little AMC filler before the commercial that said something along the lines of, "Now, hear from KFC why flesh is better." I shit you not.
"You only brought 11 arrows?! There are a hundred, thousand aliens out there!" "Yeah, and I killed 11 of them. You're welcome." Even though the execution was sloppy, the writing was great.
Ordered! It's about time I showed my support IRL. Bummed I missed out on Kotaku-tan I, but this design is so frikkin' rad I can't let it pass me by. It's banhammerin' time!
Avoiding spoilers, the entire movie is worth the scene where the above song plays. Just listening to it sends chills up my spine. 2.22 is the culmination of having stuck by this incredible series for so many years. Here's to being optimistic for 3.0!
honestly, thank you, because it did and I was beginning to feel like a bad person.
"The Lion King is not about wildebeest but they were in the movie. Star Wars is not about a cantina or lightstabers but that doesn't mean they don't belong. Luke Skywalker starts his journey as a farmer but the movie is not about farming."
I'm putting my thoughts out here, which I try very hard to formulate, and instead of having this conversation with me to begin with, you try to make me look like an asshole. I don't understand that. I guess I'm too negative. I do understand that it takes hundreds, thousands, and hundreds of thousands of man hours to…
Yes! I totally agree. All of the brand name candy puns were old quick. The most interesting moments WERE when the characters were forced to face unfamiliar obstacles with their unique powers. Especially when Sonic drops the knowledge that if you die outside of your game, you die for good with no respawn. The plot…
Yes, I saw the movie. I'm aware they are cameos. But the actual plot is so pandering and mediocre that it's insulting. It's insulting to adults who went to see it based on the marketing, and I think it's insulting to kids' intelligence.
C'mon. At least that movie had an engaging, zany plot with great characters. Kind of like, oh idk...the cartoons it was paying homage to. Except, it recognized that the audience who it was making the references for are now adults. So, it has a very adult sense of humor with a plot about murder, corporate takeovers,…
Yeah, it was not at all a movie for us. The marketing dept. for this movie deserves a medal. I felt like some bully just came up and went, "Hey nerd, you like Ryu and Sonic and QBert and Dig-Dug, right? Give me $10 and you can see a movie that has all of that." And then when I give him the $10 he goes, "HAHA, you…
I take outrageously powerful attacks to the face as Shep all the time, but Garrus is the only one with a permanent scar? That's what I'm talking about. It would have been easy for the anime to ignore those details. Instead, they made a point of including them and I think that's neat.
