My friend saw Elliott Smith in LA one time. He said that between songs, Smith would heavily slur all of his words and almost fell off of his stool multiple times, but then he would start playing and singing all of his songs PERFECTLY. He said it was a surreal experience.

I saw the Ramones at South Park Meadows in Austin in 1995. They opened for Pearl Jam on the Vitalogy tour.
