Tom Hanks and a crack crew of top soldiers must plunge into the depths of war torn France with one mission: find one man and bring him home. But can they also find… love?

The Paramount Theatre in downtown Austin has been doing a summer movie series for a few decades now, and it has allowed me to see many classics on the big screen. Of the ones I can remember, I have seen To Kill A Mockingbird, Citizen Kane, 2001, The Shining, North By Northwest… I know there are more, but that's all I

Emma Stone. She can play half Asian pretty well. Just ask Cameron Crowe.

Thanks, Benevenstanciano!

Yeah, I saw them in Austin with Billy Zoom not long before he announced he had been diagnosed with cancer (which it looks like he has recovered from, thankfully). They were awesome. Like I said, I was not expecting much, but they had tons of energy and just put on a really fun show.

Well, I think Manzarek is also partially responsible for some of the Doors backlash. He was one of the main forces behind the "Lizard King" mythos ascribed to Jim Morrison, and he really pushed the whole shaman/mystic/Dionysus/etc. thing after Morrison's death. Sex Cauldron?! I thought they closed that place down!

So all the explosive diarrhea it has given people over the years was just a happy accident until now?

The worst part about that song is the fact that that one little part you just quoted inspired Steven Tyler's entire scat-singing style. So yes, Paul McCartney is directly to blame for loosing Steven Tyler on this world.

Possibly, but they do have episode III in there, so doesn't seem likely.

The Blue Starlite Drive In theater in Austin (located at the old airport) is doing a month of Star Wars showings this August. For some reason, they are only showing episodes III-VI, but they are doing a triple feature of episodes IV, V, and VI on 8/12/2016.

Seriously, who charges the mound on Nolan Ryan? Ventura got what was coming to him. Punk bitch.

"Jack Straw" and "China Cat Sunflower" off of Europe '72 are basically my two favorite Dead recordings.
