Q1 and 2 are kind of related. If you’re talking about everyday people moving/ generic vehicles (F150's, CUV’s, corollas)...a 5 year old car isn’t that much different than a 2 year old car. Level for average milage, and take the lowest one that doesn’t have any red flags.

completely agreed. a 70k pickup is crazy to me, but there are tons of them around me. i can’t see many of the owners or potential buyers choosing this. I can completely see someone choosing this over a land rover, land cruiser. an escalade starts at 76k! a high end electric full size suv seems like a layup.

its not for tourists. its for people who have enough money to buy a 75k suv as a third car, or are cross shopping a land cruiser. most of those people already live/work in the area. they just need to know its there and then its just an uber ride. check it out, test drive, grab a drink down the street and head home.

The store is a billboard for alot of foot traffic. They’ll sell two or three to people in the area, but its more for publicity. There will be a free ‘inside the showroom / first drive’ blog on this site and many others

It’s the entire issue of the commision/dealership model. There’s absolutely no reason for car sales to be commission based. The prices should be static and non-negotiable and the sales people on salary.

finally saw one in person.....i did not throw-up. I think the low camera postion and the colors in all the press images don’t do it any favors. when you’re looking down at it, in a dark blue (and probably black), the grill is just big, which i’m told people like. from above, you’re not drawn to the top of the grill…
