I have 2 kids with me every day, and a dog, and in my town we have no trash pickup so about once a week I have to bring our trash about 20 minutes across town to the dump. We also ski on weekends, and I mountain bike in the summer. And we have a 21' boat.

I think you’re right, I think it says, “WOW WE GAVE $4,000 for this”

I want to know more about that truck and why it’s parked there. It probably drove there under its own power, though. Maybe even sweet I6-300 power.

No worries! I’m with ya.

Oh I agree. I only said 8" because that’s what the palm tree looked to be...

haha, I only said 8" because that’s what I guessed the palm tree to be....

That’s what I was thinking. You hit an 8" hardwood at that speed - it looked certainly less than 30 - and you’re coming to a stop.

I had a CLA for a rental car in (of course) Florida. As a rental, it was one of the best rental cars I’ve had. My wife and I are not big people and we didn’t have a lot of stuff. It was fine to drive. In Florida. Kinda cheap feeling inside, obviously. Not bad overall if you ignore the fact that it’s not as nice as

I’d get a nice CPO 5-series for the same money. Or CPO E-class. Or an S80. Or...

I have to believe this statement is outdated. I daily drive a 14-year old 3 series with 150,000 miles. And it was a far better car when new (arguably still is) than any Chrysler 200. No auto journalist ever said anything like this:

My wife has never owned an automatic transmission. Just before we met she sold her 5-speed Jetta and got a Volvo S40 T5 / AWD / 6-speed. One of the first things I ever said to her was, “whose car is that?” She said, “mine.” and I said, “is it a manual?” “Of course!” That was a good start.

This would be a nice car for $5k. I’ve been driving an E46 wagon daily since 2009 (two different ones), both 5-speed manual. I paid less for my ‘03 almost three years ago than what this guy is asking now, for an older car with 30k more miles. Nope.

RALLY SCHOOL! Took care of that loose nut behind the wheel. Or, rather... loosened up that nut behind the wheel....

Ah, connections, connections, connections.....

My blood pressure went up a little when the judge asked you if you had modified the brakes, and when you said “no,” took that as a conclusion that you must not be able to stop on snow as well as if you had. He might as well have asked you if it was in 4WD. Well, how do you expect to stop on snow, then? GUILTY.

I’ve been dd’ing an E46 for 7 years, and yeah - when I first got one it was a lot more common. Now I think I know the 3 or 4 that I see every day - it’s the same few - and the wagons are even less common. I can think of two that I used to see all the time and now I see those people in different cars. I’m still rocking

I have a friend who regularly builds, buys, sells, and parts out these things. This would have been a part-out. Take what’s good and use it on a broken one. There’s a nice windshield there, that’s something! Wheels, tires? I hate to say it, but this just doesn’t seem like it deserves to be reassembled.

I had a ‘93 cherokee that had a clutch linkage that wasn’t really attached on the engine side of the firewall. The result was that if you sidestepped the clutch pedal, even a little, it would pop up a little beyond its normal resting point and drop the linkage down behind the pedal. Now, the next time you went to use
