Yep. If you go into it expecting a Fantasy Novel, you’ll be very disappointed, but once you get on its wavelength it’s an amazing thing. It’s very mythic, almost biblical in style; pretty different for modern eyes, without the classical plotting of LOTR itself. It’s closer to a short story collection than anything.
