Where I got mine (Toys’r’us Canada - they were fairly easy to get in Canada) required 2 games as well. I got DOA2 because, well.... >_> , and SSX because I dunno… despite never snowboarding in my life, it just looked fun and wacky, and man, that was a great choice. Played the hell out of it.

Every justification for how to pronounce it wrong can be proven wrong. There is no definitive rule. Default to what the creator named it and professionals called it for years before it became a meme format.

It’s crazy to think about industry standards back then, when you’d regularly have dozens of artists and programmers on a project being so dramatically overworked. Things have come such a long way now that it’s hundreds of them.

It’s an interesting game in that the sum of it’s parts are much better than the individual parts. It’s the same thing that I can’t fathom when people say that there’s Star Wars fatigue cause there’s too much content. Like, don’t you remember what it was like to be a star wars fan when knowing there wasn’t nary a single movie on the horizon, and all you had to tide you over was pretty much fanfiction?

Gears of War co-op was always one of my favorite things. I can’t wait until my son is old enough that we can do that sort of thing together.
