I’m still waiting to hear from Alex Hirsch (don’t take Gravity Falls from us! Be good, Alex! T_T ). They’ve seemingly been tight for years, and Hirsh has generally been pretty vocal about mistreatment in the industry (maybe not from his pals?), and the Dipper/Wendy storyline was a fantastic examination of the good guy

I played the demo, and her performance was definitely one in the Pro column, but I decided not to get it (maybe later, on sale, but lots of games coming out this spring) because of all the Cons in the gameplay department. Really wanted to like it.

Given what this chucklehead has done with a bunch of the cartoons on HBO (shows like Infinity Train have been completely removed from (legal) existence), I don’t trust or believe anything he says. I’d say he’s just 25 pounds of cold diarrhea in a 10 pound sack, but maybe I’m just salty.

Sometimes trashing a product can be worth more than releasing it because you can write off the entire budget as a loss, and save so much on taxes that it’s worth more than the few million you might have made.
It’s really weird, but I’ve had this happen to some stuff I’ve worked on, and it sounds pretty ridiculous, but

Lies! This is not possible!
My son’s super excited, and so I like to play my game along so we can talk about it and stuff.

I don’t really know what they want to do with their VR metaverse, but I think you’d get a lot more traction just taking Final Fantasy 14, and turning it into an MMO chatroom (which I’m sure someone will point out it already is :P ). I don’t want to look like a shitty Mii or Xbox avatar. Let me attend meetings as a

Side quests sound interesting, but the biggest flaw in RE4 was that it was too long (although maybe if Military Island was better, that wouldn’t matter as much). Hopefully they don’t end up feeling like padding in an already lengthy game.

I’ve never been so happy a game (Jedi Survivor) was delayed, so I can spend more

Glad she’s ok, glad she had the resources to save her life, wish more people did... but, oddly, the thing that struck me is that she’s only working on her 6th album? that’s a pretty slow release schedule for a 30+ year career...

We get a more polished game, AND I get more time to play RE4make? This is a big win for me, at least.
As someone who got the Big White Door game-breaker bug in the first game, and had to wait almost a week for that to be patched to continue the story, I am very happy they’re taking extra time.

I still say the monetization is one of its biggest issues. I let my kid get a battlepass, but while I would’ve given them $20 for 4 or 5 skins, I am not giving them $18 for a single skin. So basically they got no money from us.
(I also would’ve paid $60 for a complete product with unlockable skins, but I’m olllld).

You can button mash through most of the combat, except parry stuff (which has TERRIBLE feedback on how you fail it as well, which makes corrections rougher). There are also non-combat music sequences that you have to nail to progress the game.
I wish they had combat and non-combat difficulty sliders, as I had few issue

The Chant is also only $30. I got both for Xmas, and liked The Chant more. It’s more of a traditional (lower budget) survival horror, but the cult and cosmic horror, and some unique settings made up for it. It doesn’t have Amphibia-Anne, but it does have music by the composer from Homeworld so you know... get both

Can I buy 6 of them and get a year for $60? I don’t see why not, but maybe there’s some introductory offer. I haven’t really paid for Gamepass yet. I’m still on my “convert Live to Gamepass for a dollar”. Then they cranked the price up.

I’m probably 1/3rd through it (defeated 2 directors). My first session I was kind of turned off by how old-school/dated the level designs were - filled with repeated props, very linear with just the occasional alcove of treats, corridors funnel towards boxes for fights. And the fighting is pretty simplistic too, if

I’m honestly surprised they survived the Microsoft Razing. I guess the game was far enough along.
Given Ghostwire’s delay (and fairly lengthy dev period), maybe they rolled a bunch of people over earlier than we expected?

If Bayonetta Origins plays anything like the Storybook segment in Bayonetta 3 (which I suspect was a playable demo) then it is not exciting at all. I really hope the game is more engaging than the demo (or entirely different), because I did like the aesthetic and storybook approach. The combat was a chore tho.

good video, but also kind of funny, as I was just saying to my friend that it’d be cool if Rick & Morty were replacement voiced by Sarah and Laura Silverman.

We tried to “alan smithee” a game once and the studio wouldn’t let us XD

Definitely not, but he’s been pretty honest and outspoken about his own abusive behaviour. And he’s not one to shut up, from what I’ve seen, so I find it surprising he would just let Roiland do something even worse..

I feel like this is really about something a lot worse than the domestic abuse charge, which they could at least wait until it goes to court before making this move. It makes me concerned that the other allegations are also true.

But what I don’t get is that he’s such good buddies with Harmon, with Alex Hirsch and Dana
