So how would this kid have prevented this mistake from happening? Not trust dealers? not trust used cars? Get the title? I haven’t bought a used car in a long time, but the kiddo is turning 15 and I probably have to start thinking about these things...

Just shave a ring around where the mask goes, so your beard is kind of a goatee and extended sideburns. It looks pretty cool.
I assume. I hope.

I still have my trimmed beard but I don’t go outside...

This doesn’t just have to be an individual - it can be an entire studio. Halo Infinite’s development cycle was notoriously toxic and awful (even by Halo standards), and yet Jason Schreier himself basically dismissed the troubles because the game turned out pretty good. :-/

Panda is also bear!

You didn’t open with “bear with me while I explain” and I can’t tell if I’m proud or disappointed.

Tell me you don’t know anything about lesbians without telling me you don’t know anything about lesbians.

Man, I wish I had taken the kid there at least once. Kept putting it off, then pandemic, and now it’s close. It was, honestly, kinda shitty, but that’s kind of the authentic arcade experience. One of my employers had our Xmas party in it one year, and that was neat.

Definitely. There are plenty where they comment “oh, we’re not ready for that” but one, for example, the boss jumps out and surprises you when you pick a flower, and there’s just no indication how rolled you’re about to get.

Thanks! I’ll watch for that.

Thanks! Good to know! If I like it a lot, I might go back and watch the others in the background. If just for the Monica Bellucci scenes.

Yeah, I think the TFA comparison is fair (and the public may cool on it like with TFA after the initial hype. idk). I don’t begrudge anyone for enjoying it. One of my favourite games this year is Tormented Souls, which is terribly flawed in many ways, but also scratches that classic survival horror itch like no other

It’s nice to see some criticisms about Halo Infinite. It’s an interesting game in that the core is indeed fun, but everything around it feels remarkably slapdash and rushed despite 6 years of development. It has less enemy types than like.. any Halo game except maybe the first one and it only has 3 areas: rocks and

I’m near the end (I think) of Tales of Arise. It’s my first Tales game, but I’m loving it. It’s very JRPG, and that’s exactly what I wanted.
I think I’m not going to be able to fight a lot of these giant monsters until post-game, based on our level gap and how slow leveling is right now, so I think I’ll be skipping

The story was the highlight for sure (I tell friends it’s a great GotG tv series you get to play sometimes), but I thought it played fine. It wasn’t too hard, and I felt like the teammates were important without needing babysitting nor playing the game for you. If the next Mass Effect’s combat played like this, I

I can’t afford to move back to Vancouver! We looked at it a couple years ago, and if we sold our house, we could maybe get a small condo. Maybe I could live in Hope and mostly work from home. But then I’m living in Hope...

Haha. Well, ‘vow’ is pretty strong when you view it 20 years later, but it was how I felt when the credits rolled on Reloaded. “There better be some damn good word-of-mouth for me to see the next one.

Lol. That escalated quickly. I’m an insufferable movie nerd because I didn’t watch the sequel to a movie I hated (and, by most accounts, was worse than Reloaded), but am obviously willing to watch the new one.... ?

Okay, let’s say you saw Reloaded in the theatre when it came out, and then vowed to never watch Revolutions... will that put me at a disadvantage to watch this movie? Or is just the first one particularly relevant?

-Usually
- No (but I’m from BC so I studied high school french a long time ago. haha)
- I can find one

Really, I’d probably use it as a cover to move back to Canada if I actually went through with this. haha.

So... a good time to apply then... >_>
