That’s good to know you had a similar experience with the demo.

I can’t find anything about the budget, and I know number of people on the team is more important than time, but the only info I can find says that this had one of the longest development cycles of a Tales game which suggests it was at least a normal

while completely reinventing the wheel in ways that matter”

Could someone elaborate on this?

I’ve been really curious about this (even tho the demo didn’t really move me, I understand it can’t really draw me into the story), and if The Good Life is either really short, or bad, I’ll probably grab this. I didn’t realize it was a budget release tho. I thought it was full price.

I thought Spicer’s rank on Dancing was bolstered by republicans voting for him as a laugh/own the libs. He didn’t burn his right-wing bridge.

Not much for me this season. I guess I’ll keep watching Fena.

Does Higurashi continue, or was it just a long season? I think it’s up to 15 episodes, which made me think it was going to keep going.

I should’ve DL’d that instead of Avengers. Avengers is pretty crap. Haha. It’s so full of free-to-play garbage monetization (it looks like I have to -buy- finishing animations??) that it’s hard to believe it was a full priced game at launch. Glad I didn’t pay for it at least.

Maybe Mel Gibson can direct. James Woods and Kevin Sorbo can star.

What the heck is “deciduous sound design” ?? It’s a tree-t for the ears? It falls flat in the fall? You want to leave it alone? It really branches out? It’s got a real phloem? It harkens back to the roots of gaming? It’s knot very good? I’m so confused!

Dude, last month I made what I thought was a fun little poke about Kotaku’s coverage of New World, and because what I said wasn’t also  critical of Amazon, I had a huge stream of salty (but occasionally funny!) responses. Best of luck to you!

It’s basically posting spoilers, but like any spoiler thread, I usually avoid them if I want to discover it myself.

that being said, a lot of people work pretty hard on *many* projects to make sure data doesn’t leak by putting in release controls and data stripping.

Turkeys hadn’t been invented yet! it’s approx 200,000 years before Jesus founded the USA.

I haven’t lived in Canada for a while, but as a kid, Orange Julius was fine to get a drink from, but you did NOT want to pair it with food, which is basically 7-11 fare (80s/90s 7-11 fare, to be clear. Maybe 7-11 is better now) for triple the price.

Not quite what I expected when they said Jonathan Blow was a big influence on the game, but I like it. I liked the short hair way more than I expected.

I’m either closer to the ending than I think or I’m going to spend way longer than 10 hours. Besides sucking at the game and having to fight bosses multiple times, I’m having a great time scouring the environments looking for Rots, and hats, and stuff like that. If you’re on Story mode and just beeline to objectives,

This game is freaking hard. It looks cute and calm, and a nice romp with your funny little friends where you walk in a line and sing songs from Totoro, but it is Fist of the North Star and I am the loser.
 but that aside, it’s lovely!

Where’s The Good Life?

But there’s been a great string of 2nd tier game. Psychonauts 2, Kena, The Artful Escape, and more on the way. Ok, I -am- one of those “I don’t care about Halo” guys, but even if I did, there’s a lot to play without going into the AAA space.

I’ve never actually played TF2 multiplayer. I got it really cheap and played the campaign and it was quite good.
I’m mostly bummed because Quantic Dream, one of my most hated developers, is reportedly making a Star Wars game.
Also, I liked Fallen Order coz it was basically Tomb Raider with lightsabers, and I’m all

I’ll sacrifice Titanfall for more Fallen Order. Sorry :P

Every time they start to lose me, they hit me with stuff like Fear Street, Brand New Cherry Flavour, and Kate, and I keep my subscription...
