Incivility is so much worse than lynching, shooting, or simply driving over the people you disagree with.

I’m actually a little sad that it isn’t completely obvious that I’m joking.
Not as colorful tho.
Does “Going to greener pastures” mean death here? It’s always meant “getting a better job/situation” (or at least attempting to) where I’m from. Similar to “the grass is greener” but maybe with a better chance of it working out...
Haha. I get that a lot. I’m basically the embodiment of Poe’s Law.
If people don’t want to pay the tariff, they can buy one of the game consoles made right here in America, dammit!
Now, see, I’m envisioning a smart watch that also dispenses Bubble Tape gum, and I’m much more interested in that...
I... what? I never said that.
And you’re saying every 13 year old thinks the show is overrated?
I figured most people would understand that this wasn’t a direct response to the article (the article is fair - you don’t have to *like* Evangelion - but neither is she saying the show is overrated), but apparently not. So consider this the disclaimer.
There’s plenty of things to not like about a lot of shows that you can still admit are good, or say they’re not for you, or just not say anything about. But Evangelion is one of those shows people sure like to tell you they don’t think is as good as other people think it is.
I view them as a sequel after Shinji did his magic at the end. Which is why it’s braindead fan service. It’s basically saying “you fans think you can make a better show? This is what you wanted.”
My first thought when I saw Evangelion was coming to Netflix: “Great. A whole new generation of people who can let us know how fucking special they are because they think Evangelion is overrated.” Sorry your Dad didn’t suck, kiddo.
It was pretty good. Some of the artwork cards were pretty pervy (game needed a gallery >_> ) but there were some bad translations that made a puzzle near-impossible.
All in all, definitely glad I got it although I don’t know why they charged for the DLC episode instead of putting it on the cart and selling the cart…
Mayyybe, but they can have different content in each region...
Thanks. That’s good info. I guess they don’t want to anger the religious conservatives with a tiny bit of homosexual tension in a story about fighting angels, becoming god and interpreting the dead sea scrolls.
So are kaworu and shinji less or more gay now? It seemed pretty gay in the original translation - are you saying that subtext wasn’t intentional?
Aww, we used one of the (many) versions for our wedding dance almost 20 years ago.
Even the “self made millionaires” often aren’t really self-made because they have a rich cushion to fall back on if their venture fails. Why didn’t I buy $30,000 worth of stock in Apple in 1996 (or even $300)? Coz I had rent to pay, and if I was wrong about it being worth it, I... had rent to pay.
I’m scared too.
I don’t know about the other two, but Tofurkey brats are seriously high in fat, pushing well into “real hotdog” levels, so definitely don’t choose them for health reasons.
