If it works, it works. I just watched The Killing of a Sacred Deer this last weekend, and she’s still fabulous even done up as a beleaguered wife whose family is dying.
That silent movie (the first vid) is pretty golden. But like... is the moral that if you smoke marihuana, a Mexican will frame you for a crime? No one else seemed to do anything actually wrong...
Nice. A former coworker loved Kiznaiver (and anything Trigger) and it’s perpetually in my backlog. I need to get around to watching it. Hopefully there won’t be so many long games coming out this year.
Also, my guess is that NotShinji is actually riding bitch and NotAsuka’s in control and there’ll be a whole “manhood” thing going on, but who knows...
You’re probably right, but I keep calling the two mains NotShinji and NotAsuka. And the synchronizing reminds me of the dance episode of Eva. But I probably don’t have much further to go with it.
I would say the stories are just not his best works. at least so far.
Darling in the Franxx so far has been fascinating from a “how far can they push it before they’re classified as an Evangelion porn?” perspective but I’m not saying that makes it good. Just... curious.
Anyhow, I’m liking it >_>
I’ve been an Ito fan for decades and.. it’s not very good. So far, this has been the bottom-tier B-side collection of his works.
He read the menu cover-to-cover, then ordered the same thing he ordered every time: a roast beast sandwich and some of that hot ass you got there, missy. The “missy” punctuated with a firm squeeze of her stout Minnesotan behind, same as he did every time.
A shame. I actually liked that show once in a while. :(
I’ve only watched one episode (although technically twice. sigh), and it didn’t do much for me. I liked those old adult swim shows, robot chicken and plenty of randomness, but... they also tended to be funnier.
I guess I’ll give another episode a shot. I think I’d rather try to find the manga tho.
Haha. Well, yes, if you die from asphyxiation you generally don’t die from other things afterwards.
And yeah, I’m being a bit pedantic because we’re discussing science fiction stuff and someone would probably go “what about some other alien that doesn’t need oxygen?” or some other thing.
oh, so you’re only refuting the one point about freezing? Fair enough. What I read was that the boiling would also cool the body quicker, and sadly (due to some sort of ethical rule) we can’t really test which would kill you first. We both agreed that asphyxiation would kill you first.
Perhaps in the future, it might…
You clearly didn’t...
NEVER shave York’s beard!
It’s funny how many people nerd out on this without looking up any sort of information on it. Lack of air, followed by radiation, followed by freezing are the way you would die exposed in a vacuum (and you can probably drop the radiation given the location it occurred at).
Leia would have lived. Most likely the other…

In the 80s, the Dead Milkmen had a song that went something like “I’m so bored, I’m drinking bleach. I’m so bored I’m drinking bleach.”
Sadly prophetic.
