That’s not true; I’ve already put in a request with our Chronographic Restitution Department, and they’ve agreed to credit your account seven extra minutes. You’re welcome.

Seriously! If you’re wearing sunglasses you can’t see S#!T. And if you’re someone like me, who wears prescription sunglasses, you have to take them off and find your regular glasses, pump your gas, then put your regular glasses away and put your sunglasses back on. Grrr...
And they are incompatible with polarized glasses
Sure, that Camaro looks like something I drew in high school, but what’s insanely worse are the COMPLETELY and TOTALLY illegible LCD screens on so many pumps. I’m not talking color displays, I mean the monochrome liquid crystal screens that resemble a 1980s calculator with a failing battery. WT actual F? I’m…
“Is it me, or is it a good time to relaunch the Viper now that the Corvette is mid-engine? Maybe tone down turn the craziness up to 11, maybe a Hemi with a massive supercharger instead of a V10, I don’t know. I’m just spitballing so hard right now.”

Coming out of addiction back into straight life, you already feel like the biggest damn imposter. It feels like your track marks glow through the sleeves of your blazer, that every twitch of the jaw gives you away as a white-knuckling junkie. Then make your own sad sandwiches at home, asshole.
It’s occurred to me before that people who claim fast food jobs shouldn’t pay a living wage because people aren’t supposed to stay in them forever are often the same people who complain about high turnover.
No, recovering means that it’s a life-long process to stay off of drugs. No one familiar with substance abuse would say recovered.
“We’re sorry, this is America. We can’t hire recovering addicts, because then we’d be contributing to a system in which recovery is encouraged.”
For a moment there, I thought that was the Goop lady, then I realized it’s a distinction without a difference.
“Listen, I dove on a football- if we’re going to play three-card monte and only one of them is real, I’m fucking retiring, man.”
Went off the rails pretty quickly.
So, does the NFL do anything at all to help out a player having a mental health crisis or are they just on their own for that?
Its because those cars are all siting in garages because they think they will go up in value.
