@Stephen Morrow: Man, I love to be able to do batch processing from the CLI in Photoshop.

I'll personally take the middle road.

@Nano-Byte: Pretty sure they mean for it to be tiled

There is probably a psychological effect based on your expectation that it's going to make you feel better, but it's worth remembering that your brain is mostly fat. It makes a certain sense that giving it more of what it's made of in the first place would make it work better and you feel better.

Thanks for the tip :)

Amen to that!

Please, please let it be that they are going back to the old layout!

Looks like I'm not alone there. I have a hard time not taking the stairs two at a time as well, and I really am not sure why.

Not a grammar Nazi, but it does make it much easier to understand you if you use complete sentences. Não me viro atacante quando escrever algo que não faz sentido - simplesmente procuro me espressar melhor a proxima vez.

> 1. You clearly don't know what you are talking about.

1. Neither does windows what? I'm really not sure what you are referring to. The Windows command prompt doesn't even have tab completion and still has troubles with spaces and file names longer than 8 characters.

Considering the selling points mentioned in the article, we aren't really talking to the 99%. Mac is a much better intro for those who aren't ready to switch for a couple of reasons:

I guess I've been their customer too long and instinctively mistrust them :)

That's my solution too, it also helps me keep on task when I'm supposed to be working.

That's mostly because OS X is running on top of a Unix-variant kernel. In a way, you are already running something like Linux. The transition from Mac to Linux is much smoother than Windows to Linux.

The great thing about a hosts file is that it blocks the ad domains completely so they don't make the connection that puts the third party cookie there in the first place. It also means that those sites can't make the connection that would read any cookies already on your computer.

You make a good point relative to the educational use of learning materials, however there is a large difference between a detailed explanation of a criminal art which involves sophisticated equipment to create something even moderately passable and phreaking and other computer crimes which involve very little capital

@LuckyLymon

@trisham: Hmm, asking for references on how to commit wire fraud ... good luck with that.

@UnderLoK: I see it pretty regularly, I have a perl daemon that's parent takes a while to die so I see a report '1 zombie process' every so often when I log in.
