EXT. TATOOINE

Two suns shine in the arid sky.

It’s NOT a niche thing if you grew up with video games in the 80s.

I agree the 7mil seems a lot, but I also doubtr it was just a cameo. Marvel films get reworked way-y-y-y more than regular movies, so it’s possible she had a sizable part that was reworked out of the movie.

She probably just stopped getting good roles, and then, to save face, reframed her declining career as a retirement. Or, embraced her declining career as a retirement.

Shut up, Julie! And give me back my mixtapes.

As a teen, my more commercial NIN and Depeche Mode leanings were oft-criticized by my more arrogant peers, and bands like Pavement were the stick they would hit me with. I grew up thinking I was missing something, and convinced myself they were a really great, seminal, indie band.

Too bad he’s buried himself too deep under a mountain of narcissism, arrogance, and denial to even notice.

Upon reflection B&B were right about Pavement.

Given the subject matter of the film, it’s uncomfy-ness is incredibly apt for just a two word description.

Although I would add that despite it being impractical, it’s not entirely implausible that Depp would sue or do something again. Just reading the disclosed text messages from the UK trial seem to indicate he is big on revenge and a bit unreasonably so.

thanks! Very helpful

I’ll be impressed. Duke Nukem was something that was VERY funny in the 90s, as a post-80s satirical commentary on action film stereotypes and american jingoism. But one DN Forever was released two decades later... it had clearly not aged well. It’s nothing new, fresh or funny about the character or the concept, and he

You came in hot with that first line! But I understand that point - I often dont watch shows or play games until long after they are released, and I do feel I miss out a bit on the “conversation” though.

ok is there a version that doesnt cut the answers just as they get interesting?

Is it defamatory though? Genuinely curious, if she was found guilty of defamation, and continues to make statements to the media claiming physical abuse, is she breaking the law or putting herself into further legal turmoil?

Great comment. Film sets push everyone to their limits, there’s a lot of money and scheduling riding on every minute. If a child gets scared, it’s all to easy to assume the child is spooked rather than being genuinely traumatized, or worse, that the production is unsafe. Good people buckle under this pressure and make

I think its an interesting point. Keaton’s level of fame, while formidable, didn’t QUITE crack the generational barrier enough for his reputation to transcend his absence from the scene.

This is a thoughtful and logical take which makes me immediately skeptical.

It bugs me when the weirdest part of an article is not commented upon by its author.
