I’m not criticizing you having the conversation, I’m questioning why one would worry about how “dominant” the conversation is as a corporate performance metric.

Imagine placing import on the social media conversation’s endurance, as a consumer. I get why providers want that, as a metric to support their job security and career, but as a consumer? You’re doing their job for free.

You nailed it. I dont know why the BBC is good at making sci fi look cheap, but it’s not great. This show having a Doctor Who alum Jenna coleman (whom I love) doesn’t help with this feeling.

Try to think of it another way: Your potential for empathy is unlimited. It’s a resource that you can give, and give and give; you don’t need to be choosy about it.

This trailer looks like a fake trailer you’d see in a movie like The Player.

She’s right at that age where she’s keen to present as sophisticated and as adult as possible, in order to start what is hopefully a long career playing adult roles, and break out of any child-typecast mold. Think Jennifer Lawrence’s press photos right after Winter’s Bone.

“got a surprise laugh out of us”
Us? How many of you reviewed this show?

Oh man, I REMEMBER that moment. What a pitch perfect reference. Bravo!

She uses “cancelled” repeatedly. I don’t think that word means what she thinks it means.

Yeah the before pic is sci fi

Bob Odenkirk, same thing, found out his money was being mismanaged and just started yes-ing everything, even up to a little show he hadnt heard of called Breaking Bad.

I would think a publisher would want their players to bias towards shorter, multiple playthroughs than stressing out about doin’ it all in one massive playthorugh. Admittedly I was that latter-kind of player for years before I chilled out and realized shorter, more specific, multiple playthroughs is really where its

Wow that last joke that ends the trailer.... woof.

I once used Cyprus Hill liner notes as a source text for a high school paper on legalizing marijuana.

I haven’t listened to Nevermind in well over 20 years, but I can replay the entire thing track for track in my head, that’s how often I heard it played in full. Part of it was the technology at the time, but I never really heard NM tracks on a mixtap; when people played Nirvana, they played the whole record top to

Yes, the notion of a “deep cut” on fucking Nevermind is preposterous, laughable, and maybe I’m just too old to comprehend.

Maybe being a teenager when Nevermind came out biases me, but IMO nothing on that record could be considered a “deep cut”. It’s liek describing anything on “Dark Side of the Moon” as a deep cut... some records were just so universally beloved and played to death that every track is a stone cold classic.

Oh, of course it seems like a terrible idea NOW... but in the eighties it was the most eighties idea ever.

I liked Mandolorian, It was pretty good, not great, not terrible.

I’m glad you enjoyed it.
